    02.23.26 - Monday Morning Quiet

Hello and good morning. How are you? We’re starting this week off with a bit of quiet, an invitation to be present. In the rush of a Monday, I hope this meditation offers you some space to settle. As for some news… I mentioned yesterday to the daily subscribers, we’re going to make some shifts for March. We’ll be starting out the month really returning to the basics of meditation. This is an invitation for you to come back to the practice, begin meditation, or to really dig in to the practice you already have. I love going back to meditation instruction and settling into the foundations. I hope you will too. After spending time there, we’ll move into lovingkindness practice. If you haven’t done this practice before or you have only done it a couple of times, I hope that you’ll really take the time to be with it this coming month. Of course, if you aren’t already a daily subscriber, I hope you’ll consider becoming one. I’m really looking forward to finding some steadiness with you in March. It’s only a few days away now. Can you believe it? Thank you so much for being here. 💗 Take care. ✨ Interested in personal meditation instructions? Want to explore healing and relaxation? Maybe life needs a little support? I hope you’ll consider finding a session this week. This is a public episode. 02.22.26 - Sunday Morning Meditation - Ease

Hello and good morning, friends. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how exactly I came to a regular meditation practice. I am not a person who is particularly disciplined. I talk to a lot of folks about why it’s so difficult to do the things that are “good” for you versus how easy it is to binge watch a tv show all weekend. I also find lots of things easier to do that are not as “good” for me as other things. But I think maybe two things changed meditation for me: 1) having a teacher who just really said I had to do it and 2) lovingkindness practice. There are probably other factors, but those come to mind first. If you struggle with wanting a meditation practice but the discipline of keeping up with one is hard, these are two things I’d like to offer to you. In March, we’re going to spend the first two weeks getting back to the basics, and then we’ll spend time with lovingkindness. I love going back to the start, if I’m honest. I have listened to my Zen teacher give meditation instruction so many times I can probably recite it. I love being reminded of how simple this practice is at its very core while also being anything but simple. If this sounds good to you, I hope you’ll stay with me and invite some friends too. We’ll talk more about this as the week goes on, but I wanted to share with you what I’m thinking about first. For today, we’re focused on our recent theme of ease. Thank you for being here, friends. 💗 Take care. (This meditation is from the archive. It was originally shared on 05.25.25.)
