    Hello and good morning, friends. If you aren’t a daily subscriber, this is the first time you’re hearing from me in a while. Hello again. I’ve been working through an incredibly challenging season of life to say the least. I’m finally feeling able to slowly dipping my toes back into sharing with you. If you’ve been away from meditation for awhile, this is a great time to return as we’ll be focused on short meditations for a bit. I’m hopeful they’ll be opportunities like this one: a pause to re-center, ground, and come back to yourself. Our meditation today is a chance to take a little break in your morning.     Hello and good morning, friends. First, let me recognize my absence. There has been a lot of upheaval in my life. I appreciate the daily meditation subscribers for their patience as I’ve wandered away and back. 💗 As we arrive to this meditation today, I am thinking of the full moon in Scorpio today. I’m thinking about all the things in my own life that I would like to begin again. I am thinking of this brand new month and day that’s full of possibility. If you’ve wandered from meditation, I invite you to return. If you’ve wandered from other things that have felt important to you, maybe it’s time to begin again. You can always begin again.     04.17.26 - Meditation - Connection with the Heart

    Hello and good morning, friends. We’ve come to perhaps one of the tenderest points in revisiting this series on connection: the heart. The ways we relate to our hearts are really going to inform the next couple of meditations also, so I encourage you to be gentle and take some time. I’d like to share a little from the original post: We’ve explored the breath and body as well as the mind. How do we feel the connection of these two and now to also feel their connection with the heart? In this trio, I think the heart can often feel the most guarded, even from its closest allies. It can also be the most tender, especially in times such as these where every news story is a different heartbreak. Even when something is anger-inducing, sometimes what lives beneath the anger is our tender little hearts, maybe wishing for something to be other than it is or recognizing the suffering of a situation. Today is an invitation to be the with the heart and its many connections, to feel into the tenderness that lives in us always. I would like to leave you with one of my very favorite quotes from my late teacher: “It’s so important that we’re paying attention to the condition of our heart...     04.03.26 - Friday Meditation - Being Still

    Hello, friends. How are you? We’ve been talking a lot about quiet in the daily meditations, so tonight I thought we could spend a little time with stillness. Here’s a little something from the original sharing of this meditation: Sometimes when things are shifting either in small or big ways, getting still is the last thing that I want to do. Maybe you too? But when I don’t want to find that stillness is when I know that I need it. That’s not to say we shouldn’t move things through our bodies with actual movement, but that there is a balance we can find between stillness and wanting to run from things. Stillness can help us see what’s truly going on, to act from a place of choice instead of reactivity. It can be informative. It can soothe some frayed edge feelings. Of course, if none of this feels like it resonates, today’s meditation is still a lovely exercise in just being right here. Thank you so much for being here. 💗 Take care.
