    02.12.26 - Meditation - Clearing Space

    Hello hello. How are you? Our meditation today feels like a little bit of an oddity to me. It’s a little odd in its timing, a little odd in it’s format in some ways. The topic came to me as I was kind of wandering around the house trying to move some sensations in my body. If there is one thing that becomes more and more clear in my own life, it's how connected our bodies and minds are. So that feeling of needing to move something in my body also felt like maybe there were things in my mind that could shift, could have more clarity. I wonder if you have this kind of experience to? So we’re just seeing what’s here, clearing some space with breath and inquiry, letting the sticky things maybe get a little less sticky, finding some clarity.     Hello and good morning! As I write to you this morning, it is still dark outside, but have you noticed that the light is returning? I looked outside last night at 6:16pm and the sun was still in the process of setting. I think it’s the first time that I really felt the shift in daylight this season. To start the day and the week, we have a quiet little breath meditation this morning. We’re finding some flow, keeping things simple. We’re also keeping this sense of invitation: inviting the mind to settle, not forcing anything to happen. I hope it’s a good start to the week, friends.     02.07.26 - Saturday Meditation - Spaciousness

    Hello, friends. How’s your day? When I was sick most recently, there was a period when I felt like my stomach couldn’t un-cramp. It was just in this state of constant tension all the time. Any movement or any emotional tension, just added to that feeling. I couldn’t eat without pain, couldn’t move without pain. Thankfully, the sickness has passed, but I still feel a heightened awareness of the tension I sometimes find myself holding. I wonder if you have places in your body where you also feel a lot of tension. Sometimes it’s tension in the mind that gets us the most. Regardless of where the tension is, practicing with this idea of spaciousness might bring some shifts. I hope so. Thank you for being here. 💗 Take care. (This meditation is from the archive.     Hello, hello, friends. How are you? How’s your week been? We often spend time with the exhale on Fridays and sometimes we talk about letting go. I wonder if there’s something that’s come up over the week that you’d like to shift, something that could better serve you in the letting go than the holding on. Or maybe there’s some built up tension in your body from all that life is in this moment and the exhale can be that pressure release. However you are today, whatever you may be carrying or holding onto, I hope that this practice with the exhale and invitation to let go helps you feel a little lighter.
