    In this MAKEWELL episode #9, I spoke with CoffeeVectors about how AI is evolving our perception of attention, creativity, and what it means to be human. Some key insights: CoffeeVectors sees attention as constantly evolving rather than fixed, much like art forms that didn't exist centuries ago. AI is the next undulation in the ether of communication. He views jumping into new AI tools as the fastest way to expose yourself to problems and context needed for learning. Stepping back to best practices comes after tangible obstacles. For him, vision and process are two phases of the same flow when merged together by AI. Pre-production could reach the quality of finished work, blending the distinction. CoffeeVectors believes today's "humans" are a narrow slice of possibility. Technology has always changed what being human means, from fire to agriculture to literacy. He sees AI as allowing us to customize information to fit our attention span rather than one size fits all communication. Cartoon voices teaching complex topics are one example. CoffeeVectors thinks transformative tech like AI forces us to rethink existing narratives of what concepts like art are. The constants are change and mutation. He aims to use AI inspirationally, creating compelling visions of the future people opt into rather than combative call-outs. Outrage may drive clicks but not hearts. For CoffeeVectors, AI offers "status free communication" to explore aspects of self freed from societal constraints. Judgement dissolves. He advocates following curiosity and intrinsic rewards when learning AI rather than just utilitarian pressures. Curiosity indicates readiness to absorb.
