I started listening about a month ago, I’m on episode 27. You have such great guests on. I’ve been introduced to a lot of new music and musicians after hearing you speak with them. so thank you Jann! I can’t wait to hear the rest.

I just love listening to janns podcast interviews. He has amazing people on his podcasts. He is so relaxed with one excellent voice. I always look forward to his podcasts. Plus he is a wounderful friend.

I am a podcast enthusiast. Making sound is now the podcast I look most forward to listening to. Jann interviews people from all areas of the music business. The interviews provide personal insights into the lives of the people profiled. Jann does a great job making his guests feel comfortable. He weaves his own experiences with those of his guests. The shows are not just about music, they are about life-the daily struggles that we all face, and the ups and downs of those who work in the music field. I am always inspired by the stories, and they motivate me to pick up my instrument, sing, and to compose original music. Thanks Jann for being one of the highlights of my week!

I was so excited to see that some of my favorite Mouseketeers were being interviewed about their time on the show. I didn’t know who Jann was but I started listening because of the guests. I have to say I won’t be listening again. He took more time bragging about his work and who he knows than talking to his guests. And he’d interrupt them to talk about himself. I don’t want to know about your career. I want to know about who you are interviewing. It was very hard to get through because of that. Please think Of another way to do this if you continue. And if you want to talk about yourself, then do an interview alone.

In episode 7 Jann had Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway as his guests. His stated goal was to have a conversation with these 2 multi-talented sisters, rather than conduct an interview. He absolutely delivered! With Jann guiding the conversation, you really got to enjoy and appreciate the love, support and humor Ann and Liz share as they remembered stories and events from various points in their lives and careers. All 3 provided insights into their efforts to remain creative and productive during this pandemic. 90 minutes of worthwhile, intelligent and engaging conversation!

Jann is an amazing talent that is so comfortable talking with the legends of music, that he inspires his guests to tell their wonderful stories of their musical careers.

Jann is a great host! I love his sense of style and the guests that he chooses.
