    Behind the scenes at Spring Training: How sports medicine supports athletes and patients on and off the field

    During this episode of Making the Rounds, we're on-site at Spring Training in Goodyear, Arizona, with Dr. Grant Padley, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine provider with TOCA at Banner Health and a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds Major and Minor League Baseball teams for the past 16 seasons. Dr. Padley shares his experience treating athletes at all levels – from professional baseball players to young competitors – diving into common shoulder and elbow injuries, cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques and how sports medicine supports long-term performance and recovery. We'll also discuss the importance of multi-sport participation, advancements in imaging and surgery and what's ahead with Banner's new clinic that is coming to Goodyear later this year.
