    Simon Lauer - A New Beginning!

    The wait is finally over. As the first episode on a brand new season, we will be starting a new series here at the University of Victoria. As the start our journey through post-secondary school begins, the opportunities and the people that will be met are endless. The goal of this season is to capture and listen to the many stories that can be found here by the people of Vancouver Island. This show has always been, and will be about the guests we host. University is a time where people can be imperfect, dumb, flawed, sad and make the same jokes everyday. But most importantly, it is where people cab be themselves. And that is the beauty of it. In this episode of Marcel Mondays, we are joined by Simon Lauer. Simon is a first year computer science student at UVIC. He grew up in the city of Whitehorse, located in the territory of the Yukon, just north of British Columbia.     My Childhood Bestfriends and 3 Microphones

    In this episode of Marcel Mondays, your host, Markus Hernandez converses with his three childhood best friends: Jake Heppell, George Malpass, and Pierre Lambelet. This episode is a whole new style than what you're previously used to hearing from Marcel. If you're looking for a less professional, less earnest, less educational, and more silly/chaotic audio then you've hit the right place. Unfortunately, Marcel doesn't do a fantastic job of introducing the characters and relies upon that the audience already as a significant idea towards who they're as people. As a result of this, this episode has been catered to the friends and students who grew up with the presenters. This episode focuses primarily on an open discussion where the four presenters have a more humorous tone while discussing the lives they shared and reminiscing about all the memories they made.
