Your ad strategy should be a reflection of that focus. If you are just running ads to capture leads from in-platform lead forms, and these leads don’t turn into revenue, you should probably stop and reconsider what you are doing. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN MARKETING THAT YOU SEE COMING IN THE NEXT 2 YEARS? A recession is coming. It is going to accelerate trends we’ve seen driving GTM strategies (e.g. product-led growth, buyer enablement, community-led growth). Trust is eroding in the biggest advertising platforms of the past as well. Marketers will need to be agile and savvy as that world gets disrupted with new solutions and potential Web3 impacts. Be consistent. Whatever you decide to do: long form content, micro content, videos, podcasts, advertising – keep doing it. Only when people see you often enough does your marketing start to make an impact. Today, it might take 20 touch points before someone starts to know, like, and trust you, so consistency is key. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN MARKETING THAT YOU SEE COMING IN THE NEXT 2 YEARS? Artificial intelligence has already shown that it is making an impact, from chatbots to search results to tracking and targeting visitors. This is going to continue to evolve and make an impact on how marketing is done.
