    Pride Flag, Part 1

The Pride Flag: the object, the symbol, the movement. It serves as a beacon of hope to LGBTQ people around the world, but does this hope extend equally to everyone? We speak to Mike Lorocco, Dominique Morgan, Tracy Huerta, and Cecil wilder to find out.  If you would like to get involved with Dominique's organization, Black and Pink, be sure to visit their website: https://www.blackandpink.org/ This episode was produced during our summer course "Creating a Narrative Podcast" with Eric Molinsky, host of the podcast, Imaginary Worlds: https://www.sps.nyu.edu/professional-pathways/courses/WRIT1-CE9108-creating-a-narrative-podcast.html

    Pride Flag, Part 2

The Pride Flag conversation continues, this time with a round table discussion of leather group members: Aaron Smith, Henry Smith, Alyssa Durnien, Blue (Sclena Young), Mike Haynes, Sunny Haynes, Moto (Armando Gadkin). As well, we spoke with Cam Haigh, Taylor Sestito, and Progress Pride Flag designer Daniel Quasar. In this episode, we dig a little deeper into the varied opinions about the current status of the Pride Flag. There have been a lot of redesigns of the Pride Flag, and the LGBTQ community is at a standstill in regards to what these changes represent.  To learn more about Daniel Quasar's Progress Pride Flag and other work, check out their Instagram @danielquasar.
