What a delight to hear Matt’s voice in my podcast feed. Somehow good advice hits harder when he says it. Must be the accent!
This podcast is GOLD. Not just for writers, but really… for humans.
Matt’s new podcast is a godsend. I’m not a fiction writer myself, but am in fact doing writing work. (Much of it can be seen as ‘creative,’ if you squint hard enough. ::chuckle::) So, it’s absolutely timely and invaluable to me right now. At any rate, in his podcast, Matt gladly shares hard-earned wisdom and insight as a writer; and that, alone, is worth the price of entry. (Which in this case happens to be free, but I’d happily pay to subscribe to this sort of thing, as it’s utterly illuminating AND helpful/practical.)
Just check out the first couple of episodes (which are brief, zen-mind chunks of conversational talk, sprinkled and leavened here and there with his droll wit (not to mention the fantastic Scottish accent!) — and I guarantee you’ll be hooked.
