Such a fun podcast for a show I didn’t know needed a podcast until now. John and Jason are so funny and make it do you don’t have to watch the episodes to get what’s going on but it’s more fun if you do.

I would like to give it five and half stars because there’s no way to download all option other than that I thought this was excellent entertainment

I am delighted to find this podcast dedicated to one of my favorite legal dramas. The two young, enthusiastic hosts debunk the oft repeated myth that Matlock is a program made for the older set. As a 27 year old I can attest to this. I love how each podcast episode is broken down in to testimony and closing statements, this is a fantastic format. I love how John and Jason review not only the screenwriting but the mystery elements of each episode and I do enjoy their camaraderie and banter. It is also delightful that these gentlemen have sought out surviving original cast members whom are gracious enough to relay their production memories. If I have any criticism of the program to extol it’s the Anchor advert at the beginning, which becomes monotonous when listening to episodes back to back. I am also not to keen on the updated version of the theme tune, but this undoubtedly had to be done for copyright purposes. Aside from these minor quibbles, this is an enjoyable and brisk listening experience and the two hosts are to be commended for being the first to tackle a series that looks back at one of the greatest legal dramas in television history.
