Great podcast - fun to hear a deep dive into these songs that mean so much to us. I have to question the taste of the host who lambasted Wild Blue though.. He hates the production choices that make it such a standout studio cut - the tremolo guitar, vocal production, and guitar work are incredible. To each his own…but really?

Mayer Studies is a podcast that’s the first of its kind in the John Mayer world. Finally, fans have a collective space to theorize and exchange ideas about his songs and their meanings. It’s critical thinking at its finest. I happen to feel like I know the meaning of nearly every Mayer song, so it’s a lot of fun hearing about how other people interpret them differently. This podcast is a blast to listen to and it’s the highlight of my week. Here’s to more Mayer deep dives!
