Things from our childhood sci-fi we wished had come true, and my dream of the DESTINY'S DESIRE 3000! COME ON ELAN!! Capitalism unchecked, electrolytes aren't all they're cracked up to be, and Starbucks breaks into the brothel business. Slot machines in ER waiting rooms, triage Nostradamus, and Meta glasses and Ai pocket assistants for nursing. Dr Google, Witch Doctor TikTok, and making doctors obsolete. Ai and alarm fatigue, Doctors eat their young too, and the pressures of being the smartest/most responsible person in the room. Injecting Viagra directly into your dick, navigating the club with a stiffy, and what happens when wifey comes to pick you up after the priaprism. A Pimps love, legalizing prostitution, and gold fish tank platform shoes. Gladiators, Doctors that give their nurses the respect they deserve and a Javelin to the urethra!!

    This episode's guest is my buddy Chris-an incredible nurse, and a damn good friend. He is someone you'd want by your side when everything's on fire! He's currently serving alongside me in the trenches of the ER, is proudly gay, and has blessed me with his insight into the world of gay cowboys, as we ride no lube and ass-less chapped into the game changing movie BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN! Topics of conversation : American big screen cinema gets uncomfortable, being gay in the 60's, Vietnam draft, and don' t ask-don't tell. Masculinity, gay men in sports, and hiding the truth in the locker room. Unsuspecting tough guy characters that, SURPRISE....are gay. Fight f*****g, the down and dirty of the TENT SCENE! How gay men approach sex differently than straight men, denial, and who Chris dated in high school. College experimentation? Nope you're gay! Living secretly inside societal constructs, getting cheated on, and what would happen if Chris caught you! Deep dives into understanding you're different, coming out, telling your parents, and the fear associated with that. Being tortured in relationships, braving other people's ignorance, and the sometimes consequences for gays throughout the decades. What Chris's teenage self would tell him now! ALWAYS COME IN GUNS BLAZING!! Withholding information, misinformation, and the power and potential corruption of those who control the truth. Keeping the ER open at all costs, no beds, no staff, NO PROBLEM!! NO DIVERSION!! ER wait times, zero wait ERs, and keeping the public in the dark. Expert monster hunters, F**k Moby Dick, we goin after JAWS, and owning a tunnel vision Captain Ahab's mindset! We explore the someday dream of an ALL DUDES ER!!
