MetroCast July 2026 Ft. Tyler Brenner

In this month’s MetroCast, Kevin was not able to join us because, in true Kevin fashion, he was out working directly with agents and putting their needs first. Tyler Brenner, our Marketing Director, stepped in with me for the episode, and we had a great conversation about the tools, services, and support available to help agents move their business forward. As our featured guest, Tyler shared more about his role as Marketing Director and the work his team does to support agents across the company. We talked about Marketing Minute, which Tyler creates to help agents quickly understand the tools and resources available through Metro Brokers. Marketing can feel overwhelming, especially with so many platforms and options out there, so Marketing Minute is designed to keep things simple, practical, and easy to apply. In just a few minutes, agents can learn more about topics like RealScout, branding, marketing tools, and ways to better promote their business. A big part of that conversation focused on our Core Services. Metro Brokers Financial, led by Judy Jones, can help buyers explore loan options and give agents another resource when financing questions come up.Metro Title Trust continues to provide strong closing support, including the ability to close in many of our offices. Metro Brokers Insurance, led by Glenn Curry, is another valuable resource for both clients and agents looking for home, auto, and other insurance options. We also spent time discussing one of our biggest advantages: the support system behind every Metro Brokers agent. From Broker Support and coaching to the marketing team, agents do not have to work alone. This is the Metro Brokers ecosystem, and it is built to help agents serve their clients, solve problems, and get transactions to the closing table. Tyler and I also talked about the growing use of AI in real estate. AI can be a great tool for brainstorming, improving communication, creating marketing ideas, and saving time, but it should never replace Broker Support, legal guidance, or an agent’s own professional judgment. My advice is simple: use AI as a guide, but always review your work, make sure it sounds like you, and never rely on it for contract, legal, Fair Housing, or license-related decisions. Measure twice, cut once. We closed the episode by highlighting The Better Retreat, taking place October 19–22 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. This national Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate event is a great opportunity for agents to learn, connect, network, and come back with fresh ideas for their business. Kevin has committed to reimbursing registration for Metro Brokers award winners from Bronze level and above, but this applies to the Early Bird Registration rate only. Early Bird Registration has been extended through July 19, and tickets are selling quickly, so now is the time to register. This episode was another reminder to take advantage of the advantages. The tools, people, training, services, and support are already here. The agents who stay connected, ask questions, use the resources, and keep moving are the ones who put themselves in position to win. MetroCast June 2026 Throwback Ft. Rayshell Scott

This month’s MetroCast looks a little different. Oliver and I are not sitting down for a new episode because we are both deep in the work behind the scenes: meeting, planning, evaluating tools, and making sure Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers continues to give our agents the advantage. That is always the goal. Whether it is training, technology, support, resources, or new opportunities, our job is to keep looking ahead and make sure our agents have what they need to compete and grow. With that in mind, this is a great time to revisit one of our most valuable MetroCast conversations from last June featuring Rayshell Scott from our Peachtree City office. Rayshell’s story and advice are timeless because the fundamentals of real estate success do not change. Markets shift, rates move, and inventory changes, but discipline, consistency, follow-up, client service, and hard work will always matter. In that episode, Rayshell shared how she built her business by staying focused on serving her clients every day. She talked about using Metro Brokers training, Broker Support, branding materials, and company resources to strengthen her business. She also gave a clear look at her weekly structure, including dedicated follow-up and admin time, while using the rest of the week for appointments, clients, listing presentations, and business-building activity.  One of the strongest takeaways from Rayshell’s interview is that success is not accidental. She built momentum by attending training, hosting open houses, calling top listing agents, answering her phone, staying organized, and doing something real estate-related every day. Those habits worked when she was new, and they still work today. So while Oliver and I continue working behind the scenes to make sure Metro Brokers agents have the best tools, support, and opportunities available, I encourage you to rewatch this MetroCast with fresh eyes. Listen for the habits, the structure, and the mindset. See you next month for an all new MetroCast!

MetroCast May 2026 Ft. Bernard Brown Jr.

In this month’s MetroCast, Coach Oliver and I reflected on the energy from Metro Unite 2026 and the continued strength of the Metro Brokers family. From the office spirit to the award winners, affiliate partners, staff, managers, and agents in attendance, this year’s celebration was another reminder of the culture, pride, and connection that make our company special. We also discussed the current market and the importance of staying focused during a season filled with distractions. While the market remains relatively flat, homes are still selling, strong listings are still getting attention, and well-positioned properties can still generate multiple offers. The agents who stay active, visible, and connected to their sphere are the ones best positioned to find opportunities. A major highlight of the episode was our conversation with Bernard Brown Jr. from the West Cobb office. Bernard shared the story behind a recent luxury listing that sold for $3.7 million, which was $100,000 over the original list price. His success came from years of consistency, follow-up, patience, persistence, and trust-building with a client relationship that started long before this transaction. Bernard’s story is also a reminder to take advantage of the advantages. From Broker Support and coaching to Marketing Minute, Canva, RealScout, MoxiEngage, Distinctive Collection, and MetroNet, agents have access to tools and support designed to help them grow. As Bernard put it, his team is the Metro team, and the agents who lean into those resources are the ones most likely to build momentum. Coach Oliver also reminded agents that May can be one of the most distracting months of the year, with holidays, graduations, weddings, and family commitments all competing for attention. Even during busy seasons, it is important to keep your business moving. Tools like MoxiEngage and RealScout can help agents stay connected with clients and continue meaningful follow-up. RealScout continues to create real results for agents who use it consistently. Kevin shared that one agent recently reengaged with RealScout after being away from the market and wrote three contracts in May directly connected to the platform. That is exactly why we continue to invest in tools that help agents work smarter and turn client activity into real business opportunities. We also discussed the upcoming Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Better Retreat in Las Vegas, taking place October 19–22. As announced at Metro Unite, any Metro Brokers award winner from Bronze level and above is eligible to have their registration reimbursed, as long as they register before June 30 and attend. MetroCast March 2026

In this month’s MetroCast, Coach Oliver and I discussed current market conditions and the early signs of improvement we’re beginning to see. Despite ongoing economic uncertainty and shifting headlines, the first ten weeks of the year have slightly outpaced the same period last year in contract activity. While the increase is modest, it marks the first time in several years that we are not starting the year behind, which is an encouraging signal for the market ahead. We are also seeing encouraging shifts in market behavior. Interest rates have dipped below six percent, phones are ringing more frequently, and agents are reconnecting with clients who had previously paused their plans. These small movements create momentum, and the agents who stay active and engaged are already beginning to see results. We also welcomed agents Candace Caldwell and Josh Erwin to share their early experiences using RealScout. Their feedback highlighted how the platform helps agents stay connected to their clients through automated alerts and real-time engagement insights. In some cases, these alerts have already reopened listing conversations and created new opportunities with past clients. RealScout also provides greater visibility into client activity, allowing agents to see when clients are actively searching or engaging with market updates. This helps agents prioritize outreach, focus on the clients most likely to transact, and turn online activity into meaningful conversations and appointments. Watch the on-demand webinar to start taking advantage of RealScout https://metrobrokers.konverse.com/posts/892806435 We also highlighted the upcoming Metro Unite Awards celebration on April 2nd at the Waverly. The event brings the company together to recognize agent achievements, connect with affiliate partners, and celebrate the success of our offices across the organization. If you have not registered yet, be sure to join us as we recognize the accomplishments of our agents and look ahead to the opportunities in the year to come. MetroCast February 2026

In this month’s MetroCast, Coach Oliver and I leaned into the season with a simple question: do you love what you do? Now is a great time to reflect on whether real estate is a side hustle or a true career. The difference matters. Career-minded agents are building something long term, while others are chasing short term wins. If you focus on the craft and discipline this business will pay you back in dividends. We also spent time highlighting Metro Unite 2026 happening April 2nd at the Waverly. This year’s Metro Cup theme will feature eight office groups competing for the Spirit Award, bringing energy, creativity, and camaraderie to the celebration. It is shaping up to be a high-energy evening that reflects the heart of our company. Make sure you RSVP to be part of the experience.  We were joined by Marty Rueter, who leads Coldwell Banker Commercial Metro Brokers and is celebrating ten years with us. Marty broke down the key differences between commercial and residential real estate, reminding us that while commercial is more analytical and numbers driven, the foundation is still relationship based. He emphasized the importance of proactive prospecting, understanding lease structures, and following a disciplined, systematic approach to create consistent opportunity. We also introduced RealScout, a powerful tool designed to help agents stay engaged with their sphere in a smarter, more consistent way. After a successful beta period, we are rolling it out company-wide at the end of February. RealScout leverages automation and AI to nurture prospects using buying and selling signals and help agents act at the right time. RealScout keeps you connected even when your schedule gets busy. We chose RealScout because it converts online activity into real conversations. We closed with a market update and a reminder to get back to work. While winter weather briefly slowed activity, contract counts and website traffic are up and optimism is returning. The fear factor has eased, opportunities are surfacing and the spring market is ahead of us!  We look forward to recognizing your hard work and celebrating the wins together at Metro Unite 2026 on April 2nd \

    MetroCast January 2026

In this month’s MetroCast, Coach Oliver and I kicked off 2026 with a clear message: momentum is building, and the focus now is forward. Georgia continues to see net positive population growth, which means more jobs, more housing demand, and more opportunity. We are already seeing phones light up, interest rates ease, and confidence return across the market. I also encouraged agents to stop dwelling on 2025 and shift their mindset to what’s ahead. The future is where the business is built. There is significant pent-up demand, and projections point to meaningful unit growth in 2026. Agents who stay focused, motivated, and active will be the ones who capture it. We were joined by Dexter Dix, Director of Broker Support, who walked through key updates to Georgia contracts and outlined how our Broker Support team helps agents navigate changes with clarity and confidence. We also talked about the upcoming Metro Boker’s Unite awards celebration being held on May 2nd and the importance of showing up to celebrate the wins across our company. These moments matter, and we want to recognize the hard work and success of our agents together. Be sure to RSVP so you’re part of the celebration. We closed with a reminder that success this year will come down to discipline and focus. Clear your mind, block your time, and commit to daily money-making activities. Momentum doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built by agents who show up, stay engaged, and keep moving forward.

    MetroCast December 2025

In this month’s MetroCast, Coach Oliver and I shared some very encouraging news. The Federal Reserve has now lowered interest rates for the third consecutive month, including a December 10 cut. We are already seeing the impact. Contracts and closings are up over last month and over this time last year, marking the first positive shift we’ve seen in nearly three years. Momentum is building, and confidence is returning to the market. We also talked about how we are positioning agents to take advantage of this shift. Even during a challenging market, we continue investing in tools designed to create a real revenue opportunities. In early 2026, we will be launching our newly redesigned MetroBrokers.com, built to drive more leads and improve performance. Alongside that, every agent will receive a Canva Enterprise account at no cost, courtesy of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate. We were joined by Sonya Rosser from the Villa Rica office, who brought a powerful reminder of what consistency, encouragement, and having a plan can do for your business. Her approach reinforces that real estate is still driven by relationships, daily effort, and staying connected to your community. She reminded us to "Make It Do What It Do!" We wrapped up with a focus on preparation. A business plan does not have to be perfect, but it does need to exist. The 2026 Business Planning Workbook is now available on MetroNet and is designed to help you set goals, define your numbers, and take action. No matter how 2025 went, this is your opportunity to reset, stay visible, and move into 2026 with purpose and confidence! 2026 Business Planning Workbook -  https://metrobrokers.konverse.com/home/posts/809700557

    MetroCast November 2025

In this months MetroCast, Oliver and I focused on the shift we’re seeing in the market. Activity is picking up. Listings that seemed stale are now going under contract, confidence is rising, and the uncertainty brought on by shutdowns and rate jumps is finally easing. To help agents capitalize on this momentum, I announced a new initiative that opens up a powerful opportunity: any Metro Brokers agent can now market any Metro Brokers listing. Whether or not you have your own listing, you now have access to a full inventory of properties you can promote on your social media to stay visible and generate more leads. It’s a simple shift that gives every agent the ability to expand their reach and grow their business. Tyler joined us to unveil a major upgrades to MetroBrokers.com, a complete redesign launching in December that’s built to drive more leads, improve SEO, and outperform national portals. And that’s just the beginning. He also announced that in January, every agent will receive a free Canva Pro Enterprise account, loaded with Metro Brokers branded templates, listing integrations, video tools, and AI features. Between the new website and Canva rollout, agents will have everything they need to launch modern, high-impact marketing in minutes. Oliver wrapped things up with a reminder not to let the weather, time change, or holiday distractions slow your progress. Stay proactive, stay visible, and make the most of every opportunity.
