047: The Dark Phoenix Saga
On episode 47 of MCMF, Chloe returns to talk with Marcus about THE DARK PHOENIX SAGA! Released in 1980, this story by legendary comics duo Chris Claremont and John Byrne is one of the most famous in comics history, following the corruption and eventual fall of Jean Grey, also known as Phoenix of the X-Men. It is also notable for introducing Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost, both of whom become major players in the X-Men franchise and eventually the Marvel Universe at large.
