I always tune in for the scoop, but I’m really just in it for the intros!

This podcast is a critical tool (along with many other tools, none stand alone!) for maintaining your snow safety skills and knowledge - I can’t say enough how important repetition is for learning something and this podcast gives me another opportunity to practice critical thinking about our current snowpack and choices we make in the backcountry. It’s 100% awesome for helping me practice more awareness, knowledge, and accountability for my decisions out there, and I’m so grateful for that!

Just unsubscribed from season three because the hosts have gone out of their way to use the old name for Palisades and encouraged anyone who didn’t like it to unsubscribe. Why go out of your way to be a jerk and use the name that is cruel to native women, that those communities have asked us to stop using? “It’s always been that way” seems weak.

Content is useful, when they finally get to it. Lots of rambling and personal info that isn't interesting or relevant. Unsubscribed due to recent Covid vaccine skepticism and ranting about Palisades' new name…get over it, dudes. It's not about you. I'll be getting my avy info from other sources.
