Olivia Lara Owen

Hosted by Olivia Lara Owen, this is a space for women who have already done a lot of inner work, and are now navigating the quieter, more complex thresholds of life. The ones that don’t respond to urgency, forcing, or optimisation. Through solo episodes and occasional conversations, Olivia explores what it means to build a life that can actually hold you. One rooted in capacity rather than intensity, devotion rather than fantasy, and truth rather than performance. This is not a podcast about fixing yourself. It’s about feeding yourself. And staying. Ep 14. Your Life is Not Lived in the Waiting Room

What if you don't need another breakthrough, reinvention or version of yourself to become? What if the invitation is to actually live the life that's already here? Over the last few weeks, I've been exploring desire, stewardship and what happens after we get some of the things we once desperately wanted. And your responses have opened up an even bigger conversation. Because somewhere along the way, personal development can leave us with the feeling that our real life is always slightly ahead of us. When I make more money. When I heal this pattern. When I find the relationship. When we move. When my business grows. When I finally become the woman who... Then I'll arrive. Then I'll relax. Then I'll really live. But there is always another "there". In this episode, I'm exploring the difference between transformation and inhabitation, and why all of our healing, coaching, growth and self-awareness should ultimately return us to our actual lives. We explore: Why personal development itself can become a waiting roomWhen self-improvement quietly becomes self-rejectionThe difference between changing your life because you love it and changing it because you can't accept where you areWhy you might not need another reinvention, but need to live the last oneThe beauty and significance of an ordinary lifeWhy inhabiting your life does not mean settlingHow desire can point deeper into the life you already have, rather than always towards something elseWhat it means to stop perpetually preparing to liveOne distinction at the heart of this conversation: "I love my life enough to participate in its evolution." is very different from: "My life needs to change before I can love it." And perhaps the question to sit with after listening is: Where are you treating your current life like a waiting room? Your life isn't waiting on the other side of your next breakthrough. Your life is the thing we've been doing all this work for. 🌿 Work with Olivia If you're moving through a significant life transition and you're ready for support, the first step to working with me is to book a Deep Dive. Ep 13. Stewardship: What Happens After You Get What You Wanted?

What happens when you actually get the thing you wanted? The relationship. The business. The home. The friendships. The family. The freedom. We spend so much of our lives focused on desire, manifestation, expansion and creating what we want. But there is another part of the conversation that we don't talk about nearly enough: How do we care for what we've created once it arrives? After the response to last week's episode on Desire 2.0, there was one word that so many of you came back to me with: stewardship. So this week, we're going deeper. To me, stewardship is about caring well for what matters to you. It's the recognition that the things we once desperately wanted eventually ask something of us. Desire says: I want this. Stewardship says: I will care for this. In this episode, I explore: Why we're so culturally focused on acquisition and "getting"What happens when the thing you wanted becomes part of your ordinary lifeWhy stewardship is different from maintenanceThe role of devotion, care and participation in creating a meaningful lifeWhat relationships, businesses, friendships, homes and families actually require from usWhy desire can initiate something, but stewardship is what sustains itThe temptation to keep chasing the next desire rather than tending what is already hereWhy stewardship doesn't mean settling or suppressing ambitionHow stronger foundations actually create more capacity for desire, growth and expansionWhat pregnancy and preparing for motherhood are teaching me about stewardshipA different way of thinking about abundanceOne of the questions I want to leave you with is: What did you once desperately want that is now simply part of your ordinary life? And then: How are you caring for it? Maybe abundance isn't always about having more. Maybe it's also about developing the capacity to enjoy, inhabit, protect and beautifully care for what is already here. 🌿 Work with Olivia If you're moving through a significant life transition and this conversation is speaking directly to where you are, the first step to working with me is to book a Deep Dive. The Deep Dive is a 75-minute one-to-one coaching session where we'll explore what's really going on beneath the surface, identify the patterns shaping your current season and map out what I believe would most change the trajectory of your next chapter. If we're the right fit, I'll also share exactly how I would support you through my three-month one-to-one coaching container, The Comeback. Ep 12. Desire 2.0. When Desire Grows Up.

For years I've taught one central idea: Trust your desire. Follow what lights you up. Let desire become your compass. I still believe that. But over the past few years, through partnership, building a business, returning home from Paris, and now preparing for motherhood, I've realised something important: Desire doesn't become less important. It simply grows up. This episode marks the beginning of a new season in my work. We're exploring what happens after desire has helped you create a life you love. Because eventually, life asks something more of us. Not to abandon desire, but to learn how to steward everything it has created. In this episode, we explore: • Why trusting desire transformed my life • Why I still believe desire is one of our greatest guides • The difference between following every desire and leading your life • Why you can honour a desire without acting on it immediately • The powerful distinction between desire as information and desire as instruction • The role of wisdom, timing, partnership and responsibility • What stewardship really means and why it feels like the next evolution of my coaching One of the ideas at the heart of this conversation is: You can honour a desire without obeying it immediately. And another: Desire isn't always asking to be fulfilled. Sometimes it's simply asking to be heard. If you've spent years reconnecting with what you want, but are now finding yourself navigating partnership, family, business, home, responsibility or motherhood, I hope this conversation helps you make sense of this next chapter. This isn't about becoming less alive. It's about becoming the woman who can hold the life your desires have created. If this episode resonated… I'd love to hear what landed for you. You can connect with me on Instagram or share this episode with someone who is navigating a season of building, growing or maturing alongside their own desires. 🌿 Work with Me If this conversation resonated with you and you're moving through a significant transition in your own life, I'd love to support you. The best place to begin is with a Deep Dive. This is a 75-minute one-to-one coaching session where we'll explore what's really happening beneath the surface, identify the patterns shaping your current season, and uncover the shifts that will create the greatest change in your life. You'll leave with greater clarity, a deeper understanding of what's keeping you stuck, and three personalised recommendations for your next chapter. If it feels like the right fit for both of us, I'll also share how I would support you inside my signature three-month coaching container, The Comeback. ✨ Book a Deep Dive: Book Here ✨ Learn more about The Comeback: Read here ✨ Connect with me on Instagram: Connect here Thank you for listening. Ep 11. What do you do when you don't feel like yourself?

"I just don't feel like myself." It's one of the most common things I hear women say. Maybe you've lost your motivation. Maybe your ambition has shifted. Maybe the things that once lit you up don't seem to anymore. Or perhaps you're grieving the woman you used to be and wondering how to get back to her. In this episode, I want to offer you a completely different perspective. What if nothing has gone wrong? What if you're not disconnected from yourself at all... What if you're simply becoming someone you've never been before? Together, we explore the difference between being disconnected from yourself and being unfamiliar to yourself, why we so often romanticise old versions of ourselves, and how trying to "get back" can stop us from meeting the woman who's quietly emerging. This is a conversation about identity, transitions, self-trust and learning to honour the season you're actually in, rather than longing for one that's already passed. If you've been feeling lost lately, I hope this episode offers you a little more compassion and a little less urgency. In this episode we explore: • Why "I don't feel like myself" isn't always a problem to solve • The difference between being disconnected from yourself and unfamiliar to yourself • Why we romanticise old versions of ourselves • What happens when your capacity changes but your expectations don't • How to navigate seasons of transition with more self-trust • Why The Comeback isn't about returning to who you were, but learning to trust who you're becoming 🌿 Work with me If this conversation resonates, the first step to working together is a Deep Dive. This is a 75-minute one-to-one coaching session where we'll explore what's really going on beneath the surface, identify the patterns shaping your experience, and map out the next chapter together. If we're a good fit, I'll also share how I'd support you through my signature three-month coaching container, The Comeback. Ep 10. From Self-Doubt to Self-Trust: Reclaiming Your Whole Self with Gwen Yi

From Self-Doubt to Self-Trust: Reclaiming Your Whole Self with Gwen Yi What happens when you stop trying to become someone else... and finally come home to yourself? In this deeply moving conversation, I'm joined by astrologer, mentor and beautiful friend Gwen Yi, a former Comeback client whose journey over the last year has been nothing short of extraordinary. When Gwen first came to me, she believed she needed more strategy, more structure and more certainty. What she discovered instead was something far more powerful. A return to her own body. Her own authority. Her own truth. Together, we explore what it really means to trust yourself, release the identities you've outgrown, and stop outsourcing your wisdom to everyone else. This is a conversation about sustainable power, the courage to evolve, and the profound freedom that comes when you stop performing who you think you should be and begin honouring who you've always been. It's one of my favourite conversations we've ever recorded. In this episode we explore: • Why personal evolution often feels uncomfortable before it feels liberating • The hidden cost of outsourcing your authority • Learning to trust your body's wisdom instead of constantly overriding it • Why slowing down can be the most powerful thing you'll ever do • What it really means to be held in coaching and why true support creates sovereignty, not dependence • The importance of integration after periods of massive growth • Reclaiming past versions of yourself instead of feeling ashamed of them • The difference between performing strength and embodying true power • Why investing in yourself is often the first act of self-trust • The beautiful moment Gwen realised she no longer needed to become someone else Memorable Quotes "You are worth waiting for." "The answers do not exist outside of me." "Whenever I'm lost now, I close my eyes and ask my body what it needs." "We don't just heal by learning. We heal by learning to hold ourselves." "When you stop outsourcing your authority, your whole life begins to change." Connect with Gwen Yi 🌿 Website: www.gwenyi.com 🌿 Instagram: @gwenyi WONG GWEN YI is an Astrologer, Mentor and Guide for Multidimensional Women learning to embrace the Art of Personal Evolution. As a 3/5 Manifesting Generator herself, Gwen’s life has been rife with pivots, U-turns and ups and downs, including founding an empathy training company and leaving an 8-year longterm relationship. Gwen’s hope is to change the narrative around Personal evolution in Asia, not seeing it as shameful or irresponsible, but empowering Women to reclaim their stories, past selves and innate sovereignty through her own lived example. Ready to explore your own next chapter? If this conversation stirred something in you, and you're standing on the edge of your own evolution, I'd love to support you. The Deep Dive is where every coaching journey with me begins. Together we'll uncover what's really keeping you stuck, what your next season is asking of you, and whether working together is the right next step. ✨ Book your Deep Dive: https://olivia-lara-owen.kit.com/products/1-1-introductory-deep-dive-with-olivia- If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs this conversation today. Ep 9. Potentiate Your Power with Helen Wilkes (and join us in Ibiza this summer!)

In this episode of Meat & Monogamy, Liv is joined by one of her oldest and most beloved friends, Helen Wilkes, founder of The Collab in Sydney, yoga teacher, retreat leader and women’s power coach. This is a conversation about women who were never built for small lives. Liv and Helen speak about friendship, sisterhood, power, initiation, business, motherhood, and what it means to become a woman who can actually hold the life she has chosen. They share the origin story of a friendship forged in girlhood, rebellion, protection and being the ones who never quite fit the mould, and trace how that same thread has shaped the women they are now. Helen shares the deeper roots of her work with power, from witnessing her mother’s journey, to moving across the world with no safety net, to opening her yoga studio, to supporting her partner through a life-altering illness and discovering a level of inner resource she could no longer deny. And then, the invitation. This summer, Liv will be joining Helen in Ibiza for Potentiate Your Power, Helen’s flagship retreat, running from 30th June to 6th July. This is not a holiday with a bit of yoga. This is a deeply held, high-touch retreat for powerful women who are already living big lives and are ready to be supported, expanded, nourished and met in the next layer of their becoming. There will be yoga, embodiment, ancient energetics, deep facilitation, sisterhood, gorgeous food, spacious days, Ibiza magic, and one hell of a closing dance floor. If you have been craving an in-person experience where you do not have to hold everything, perform, explain yourself, or do your growth alone, this episode is your invitation. Two rooms remain. Find Helen on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/thehelenwilkes/  Potentiate your Power in Ibiza retreat here: Details here *Please note prices on the retreat page are in Australia Dollars*
