While this discussion differs from the regular presentation of art mediums unbeknownst to the hosts, they discuss the merit of video games as a form of artistic expression, and how the interactivity involved in many smaller game titles allows for the experience to be shared with audience members in a way that other art forms often find difficult. The guest this month is Kaelan Brown, a multi-disciplinary artist, and our host’s roommate. We discuss games and contrast titles meant to be pure entertainment with those seeking to invoke more complex responses from the audience.
