Kendra Lyons is a safety manager on our federal team where she's instilling our zero injury culture with our craft workforce and our trade partners.

She sat down with Justin Swierk and Ann Ayres from our talent team to talk about how planning and pre-task planning on our job sites is instrumental to our success. Kendra talks about how Mort's vision for zero injuries on our projects was an inspiration to her and why building rapport with our craft workforce is so important to her. The importance of understanding how work is being installed has been critical for her throughout her journey at Mortenson and helps her identify potential solutions to a challenge before they start work.

Kari Labucki is a senior MEP project manager for our data center group working on our hyperscale builds for Facebook in Eagle Mountain, UT. She oversees the larger team of MEP project managers and transitioned to the data center group after working on the Milwaukee Buc’s arena. 

Kari sat down with our lead recruiter for the data center group, Bill Peterman, to talk about what a PM does on our hyperscale projects. Joe Proulx is the director of operations for our data center group. He leads from Eagle Mountain (one of our hyperscale builds) and oversees all operational and construction activities across the group. Demand from our customers is increasing and career growth is happening.
