October Wright is Deputy Head of King David High School, Liverpool's only Jewish secondary. Dr Dominique Walker chairs the Anthony Walker Foundation, set up after her brother Anthony was murdered in a racist attack in 2005. Both join host Dylan Evans and council leader Cllr Liam Robinson in the Cunard Building for the most serious conversation this show has had yet.     Becoming a Child Friendly City

    Liverpool has just been recognised by UNICEF as a Child Friendly City. But what does that actually mean for a young person growing up here, and how do you prove a city is listening rather than just collecting accolades? In the very first episode of Mersey Views, council leader Liam Robinson and Dylan Evans sit down with two guests who put young people first every day. Ismaeel Hayter is fifteen. He runs his own window and car washing business, is taking on young "trailblazers" this summer, and works with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to break the stigma around diabetes across the city. Sue Gregory is chief executive of Everton in the Community, the charity reaching young people from a 13 million pound campus in the shadows of Goodison Park and 167 locations across the region, including its People's Place mental health hub.
