How does this personal experience help you understand the significance of God's invitation to His table? 2. In Luke 14:18-20, the invited guests made various excuses for not attending the banquet. What are some common excuses people might use today to avoid accepting God's invitation? How can we address these excuses in our own lives and in our outreach to others? Responding to Indifference, Rebellion, and Self-Sufficiency: 3. The parables highlight three main barriers to accepting God's invitation: indifference, rebellion, and self-sufficiency. Which of these barriers do you struggle with most personally? How can recognizing these barriers help you better respond to God's call and help others overcome similar obstacles? 4.
