Message in a Loop

How can you send a message to the world? We all know how to send a text message or use a social app, but if we want to find more original and creative way? We can use music to express a thought and send a message to the world. This project is created by Primary School students and their teachers Monica Sandri & Serena Zanotti. We decided to publish this work to give students a tangible sign: studying and working in a creative way produce real fruits and give great satisfaction.

    Message 7: My name is

    “My name is"  Semplicemente un messaggio “no sense”.  Sperimentiamo come si possa creare un brano e cantare una frase che funziona bene da un punti di vista musicale pur non avendo un senso logico.  “Mi chiamo Anastasia, ho 15 anni.  Mi chiamo Anastasia, ho 36 anni.”  ---  “My name is"  Simply a "no sense" message.  Let's experiment how to create a song and sing a phrase that sounds well from a musical point of view without any logical sense.  "My name is Anastasia, I am 15 years old.  My name is Anastasia, I am 36 years old."

    “STJ”  Un messaggio che non poteva essere più bello e gratificante per la nostra scuola: la scuola più bella del mondo!  “STJ, la scuola più bella del mondo."  ---  “STJ"  A message that couldn't be more beautiful and rewarding for our school: the most beautiful school in the world!  "STJ, the most beautiful school in the world."

    Message 5: La Costituzione Italiana

    “La Costituzione Italiana”  In occasione del settantesimo anniversario della Costituzione Italiana, abbiamo studiato la nostra Costituzione nei suoi principi fondamentali ed è stato argomento di lavori interdisciplinari.  Il messaggio che vogliamo lanciare al mondo con questo brano identifica i 3 valori principali su cui la nostra Costituzione si fonda: Uguaglianza, Libertà e Solidarietà.  E mettiamo anche l’accento sul principio innovativo che la Costituzione Italiana ha introdotto, a differenza delle già esistenti: il legame indissolubile tra diritto e dovere.  "Uguaglianza, Libertà, Solidarietà.  Se hai un diritto hai un dovere, se hai un dovere hai un diritto."  ---  “The Italian Constitution”  On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Italian Constitution, we studied our Constitution in its fundamental principles, which is the subject of interdisciplinary work.  The message we want to send to the world with our song identifies three main values on which our Constitution is based: Equality, Freedom and Solidarity.  We also emphasize the innovative principle that the Italian Constitution introduced, unlike the existing ones: the indissoluble link between law and duty.  "Equality, Freedom, Solidarity.  If you have rights you have duties, if you have duties you have rights."

    Message 4: Il vero divertimento

    “Rispetto”  E’ questo il messaggio che gli studenti della terza primaria (K3) vogliono lanciare al mondo.  Il vero divertimento si ha quando si gioca e ci si diverte rispettando gli altri.  “Gioco e mi diverto, solo con rispetto.  Diverto, Rispetto."  ---  “Respect"  This is the message the students of grade 3 want to send to the world.  The real fun is when you play and have fun respecting others.  "I play and I have fun, only with respect.  I have fun, I respect."

    Message 3: Imparo e mi diverto (ne vale la pena)

    Studenti entusiasti di utilizzare l’iPad nella loro giornata scolastica.  E’ così che spontaneamente lanciano questo messaggio al mondo:  “Imparo e mi diverto, studio con l’iPad.”  ---  I learn and I enjoy it (it's worth it)  Students are excited to use iPads during their school day.  And they spontaneously send this message to the world:  "I learn and enjoy, I study with an iPad."

    Message 2: La passeggiata dell'elefante indiano

    Il messaggio di questa settimana non è verbale, ma visuale... quindi non resta che chiudere gli occhi, ascoltare e immaginare ognuno il proprio elefante “indiano” (mi raccomando, indiano… i bimbi ci tengono molto a specificare “Indiano") che passeggia.  ---  This week's message is not verbal, but only visual… so all that remains is to close your eyes, listen and imagine your own “Indian" elephant that walks.

    Message 1: Esci, spegni

    Durante la giornata “M’illumino di meno” 2018, abbiamo parlato di come si può risparmiare energia. Il messaggio da lanciare al mondo racconta di quanto sia importante spegnere la luce quando si esce da una stanza e invita a lasciare l’auto e prendere la bicicletta.  “Esco dalla stanza, spengo la luce. Esci, spegni, esci. Lascio l’auto, prendo la bici. Lascia, prendi, lascia."  ---  During "M'illumino di meno” day in 2018, we talked about how we can save energy. The message sent to the world tells how important it is to turn off the light when we leave a room. It also invites people to leave cars and ride bicycles.  "I leave the room, I turn off the light. Go out, turn off, go out. I leave the car, I take a bike. Leave, take, leave."
