"Life is a Journey" with Reporter Cicily Porter

Hello from your host, Kyland Hall! This podcast is a home for metaphorical thinking. It's a space where everything about life-the abstract and the material-is symbolic material for building the "self" into something that fits the beliefs and strengths of the person you are becoming. In this inaugural episode my guest Cicily Porter shares the metaphor she values most: "Life is a journey". As with all metaphors she uses all the qualities of a "journey" to describe her biggest changes, breakthroughs and reflections. As a broadcast news journalist based in South Bend, Indiana, Cicily has a unique platform for gathering and sharing stories that matter most in this urban/rural blend that defines Northern Indiana.
