Mets'd Up

Good morning guys, this is Gavin. It’s been a little bit so I wanted to leave a review for you guys. It was a nice series win for the Mets. Pittsburgh played them tough too. The starting pitching was not bad. Peralta struggled but Peterson and McLean were good. Some early concerns that we saw this weekend that might happen quite a bit this year, is there inconsistency from the bullpen and hitting with runners on base. Lovelady and Garcia sucked this weekend. I do not know why Lovelady was used again on Sunday. They had a lot of chances to drive runners home this weekend and they did not really do it that much when they had the chance. Other than the Robert home run and the runs that they had on Sunday. That was a great hit by Soto yesterday, and I just wish that Lindor was safe. I think it’s dumb that Met fans are already booing Bo. It’s only a few games. It might take him a little bit getting used to New York before he gets going. That’s just how some guys are. I’m happy that baseball is back boys and I am looking forward to listening to you guys for the sixth straight season! It’s crazy that it has already been six years! Let’s go beat the Cardinals and LGM boys!

These guys should be making too salary for what they do. They are infinitely more interesting to listen to than anyone else. I listen to all of the podcasts and only some begrudgingly because I am waiting for this one to drop. Nothing comes close. I agree - aura matters.

If you’re looking to have your anger stoked, go somewhere else. These two guys are *analysts.* Not just knowledgeable analysts, but fun analysts. This is not only a fun romp through Mets-land every week, but a TRULY informative look at players’ performance and potential. I’d describe it as like having beers with a couple of assistant General Managers. They’re both good, but I’m particularly impressed with James Schiano’s analysis. I think my highest compliment for a podcast is that it’s both entertaining, and fully worth my time. Mets’d Up scores on both counts. Good work, you guys.
