Witty banter, excellent coverage! What more can you want in a board gaming podcast?
The MFGCast was the first podcast I ever had the pleasure of guesting on, and from that day Kurt has been extremely supportive of everything we do. The show is a decent mix of game reviews, creator interviews, and fun miscellaneous segments. My personal favorites are the Fantasy Improvs but that may be biased...
I’m not a huge fan of board or card games so I tend to skip those episodes but the fun segments and the RPG episodes are great to listen to during my commute. Kurt gets so excited about stuff which I love to hear. He’s even working on designing a couple games which is a fun journey to watch!
The MFGCast discusses various aspects of gaming with great passion and interest. A manageable crew size makes sure that everyone gets to talk about their particular interests, dislikes and fondness of games & geek culture. There is occasional episodes where Kurt and Mike will get additional icons of the industry on for round table discussions, cross over episodes and ideal interviews that get you information and laughs without going too long about a particular designer/publisher that you may not be interested in. With an unparalleled formula of time, laughs, dedication and friendship, each episode is a great listen. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
