    No one would have believed that a Victorian science fiction novel could be reborn as a double vinyl record - and yet, in 1978, Jeff Wayne a composer best known for television jungles and adverts assembled a rock orchestra and birthed possibly the greatest concept album of all time. In this episode of the Midas Vibes podcast, we're lovingly diving into an album that shaped both of our childhoods. We're looking into how the album was made, sharing some facts about the work and breaking the album down track by track.     RIP Ray Brookes, Kill Tony and Whyte Vs IItauma

    In Episode 6 of Midas Vibes, Coxy and Simon discuss the sad passing of actor Ray Brooks, the man who gave his voice to the much loved childrens classic television show - Mr Benn. We also discuss our latest obsession - Tony Pepperoni, who recently appeared on  @KillTony . Finally we walk through our thoughts on the big fight - this weekend the legend Dillian Whyte goes up against the young upstart, Moses Itauma. All this and more inside this weeks episode!     Howard Stern Cancelled... Sort of...

    There's only one story on everyones lips this week... Howard Stern and SiriusXM are set to part ways after 20 years of business. Stern was once dubbed The King of Media - the voice of the working man. He was a pioneer of the Shock Jock format, know for hard hitting, harsh rants and takedowns. Sadly these days he is a shade of his former self, and given the satellite radio platforms days are seemingly numbered... it appears the two parties are unable to come to terms.
