    Post-Derby Decompression

    Post-Derby Decompression

Catching up with Milan is one thing, but being able to sit down after such an intense Derby is something else altogether. I invited Nathan from Milan Club of DC to help me break everything down, discuss recent matches,  and talk about where Milan are, where we are going, as well as Pioli's accomplishments and future at the club.

    The Importance of Being Milan

    The Importance of Being Milan

The injuries at the club are soul-crushing, and Tuesday's loss to Porto in the Champions League did not help the mood, either. Taylor joined me to talk about all of the injuries, news, and more happening at the club right now. A common theme was the importance of being Milan.

    Atalanta Frenemy

Milan are flying high, but for this podcast I invited our opponent on Sunday, and he was kind enough to speak to me following Atalanta's defeat. Kenny from the Scudetto Podcast joined me to talk about how he became an Atalanta fan, our team's respective fortunes so far in Serie A and the Champions League, and obviously the match. We also spoke about the referees and the financial side of football in the wake of COVID-19 and the Super League project.

    Notwithstanding Injuries

    Notwithstanding Injuries

Milan survived an epic week with three massive games, pulling four points but plenty of positive comments about our performances. All of this notwithstanding a new list of injuries that is more difficult to explain than in previous seasons. Once again, I invited Boaz from Scudetto Podcast to catch up on the matches, some Milan news, and to discuss what is happening with injuries at Milan and what the club is doing about it.

    Calm Before the Storm

    Calm Before the Storm

International breaks can be kind of boring for fans who love their club teams, but this one has been a bit of a calm before the storm. Adreano from The Calcio Guys joined me this time to discuss the latest in Milan news, including the Champions League, players on International duty, and the mercato. We also previewed the upcoming Milan-Lazio match and our chances against the storm of facing Lazio, Liverpool, and Juventus all in eight days.

    Something to Talk About

    Something to Talk About

The opening two matches of the season gave Milan fans plenty to talk about, and something to smile about as well. We witnessed the Champions League draw, players are going on international duty, and the mercato is spinning deliriously to a halt. With all of this big news, I needed a lifelong Milan fan to talk to, so I invited Igor from Serbia back.

Fun to hear from fans

I have enjoyed listening to fans and and getting recaps on the games. I feel like the host has pretty solid grasp of games and tactics, and while I don’t always agree, appreciate the alternative viewpoint as such. After reading some of the reviews, I’m not sure why tweets should play into a podcast review. Also, why in the world would a hosts gender or personal life result in poor rating on a podcast. Proof, I guess, that keyboard warriors like to hide behind their anonymity and troll people who are doing something they do not have the courage to do themselves... Keep the podcasts rolling....

The Absolute Worst

Just. The. Worst.

I would normally give constructive criticism, but it’s really pointless in this case. No amount of constructive criticism can salvage this garbage.
