43: 5 DEATH STORIES and what Colton learned

Some nurses do not experience a lot of death or trauma in their chosen profession. Colton, however, has seen death in many different ways in each of the jobs he has held as an RN. Some traumatic, some slow, some sudden, some young, some old, some middle-aged. Some women, some men. The main lesson—none of us are immune to DEATH. It will happen, one way or another, at some point. Colton offers some of his experiences with death and the lessons he took away from these scenarios. Don’t be afraid—learn to embrace your mortality. For our mortality is what makes us appreciate the tenderness and miracle of life.
