    Frankie Montero is an indie filmmaker, director, and actor from Yonkers, New York, known for his gritty, realistic approach to independent cinema. We talked independent filmmaking, marketing a film project, securing distribution, behind the scenes of Beggarman, and his biggest career influences as an actor-director.  Montero has built a reputation as a prominent "actor's director" in New York City. He is best known for writing and directing the features The Operation (2023) and the crime thriller Beggarman (2025).  Before diving into directing, Montero spent years honing his craft on screen and on stage. Montero studied acting at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and over his career, he has appeared on major network television shows, including guest roles on CBS's FBI: Most Wanted. He also plays the character Victor in the 2026 series Big Mistakes. His on-screen filmography includes performances in features like This Is the Night (2021), Clean (2021), Tyler (2023), and Monsters of Mulberry Street (2021).     Kenny Orlando is a music artist, songwriter, and producer from NYC and LA. Spending years playing in numerous rock, alt, and metal bands as well as time in collaborative music collectives across LA and NYC, Kenny officially started releasing solo music in 2015. His music contains influences of Emo, Alternative, Hyper-pop, Rage, and Trap combining them into a deeply layered sound.
