    Just Not Today

Beth R-L (00:00) Good morning. Mimi behind the mic here. I wanted to have my second cup of coffee with you guys today. So cheers. Something crossed my feed earlier this morning when I was doing my early morning readings, which is how I try to start each day. It said, though you've been in a place of healing, comfortable and safe, it's time to step out into what life has for you. And that really got my attention and really spoke to my heart. and I knew it was time to step out into what God has for me next. When I introduced myself to God back in 1992 and invited his Holy Spirit to live within me, Jesus became very real to me and I trusted him immediately in my gut like a mother's instinct. So my life has been living in seasons for such a time as this. Good ones. bad ones, happy ones, sad ones, but always in season. And whether I was hand in hand with God or I stepped out of His plan and call on my life, He never left me. He promises to never leave me nor forsake me. And when I surrendered to Him four years ago, He was right there. He was right here. And that's how I know Satan is just as real. the Holy Spirit is. But of course the Holy Spirit overpowers Satan. Satan lost at the cross and today that is what I still believe and choose to believe and choose to practice in my daily life. So I just wanted to share that with you this morning because if you've been in a season of healing maybe today's your day. Maybe today's the day that God wants you to trust him just a little bit more. to step out and say, okay, God, I'm ready. Take his hand and walk with him. And remember, just not today, Satan. Also remember, just for today, Beth. And always remember to be good to yourself. Have a great day.
