Today we have 2 of the co-founders of Meow Wolf on the show!

Meow Wolf is a unique art collective that started as a small group of artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico, dumpster diving for materials and creating immersive art installations in temporary spaces. Over the years, the group grew and evolved into a permanent business, creating an immersive art empire that has captivated audiences around the world.

We explore the origins of Meow Wolf and how they grew from a small group of artists to a massive art collective that spans multiple locations and has hundreds of employees.

We also learn about the unique culture of Santa Fe and how it attracts artists and creatives from around the world. We delve into the psyche of the city and explore why it has become a hub for fringe thinkers, psychonauts, and transients.

Always Salivating

I adore these guys. The show is clever, hilarious, and unique. It was too easy to go back and listen through the whole catalog. I also had the opportunity to meet Shane after seeing his dynamite new stand up material, and he was as lovely, kind, and genuine as you could hope someone you admire to be. Five stars all day

Antidepressant in podcast form

MUM came across my radar earlier this year through the likes of DTFH, Live to Tape, The Poundcast- all my faves. I love both of Shane and Ramin’s individual podcasts- they are awesome- but there’s something about their chemistry that creates such a endearing, stimulating, chronically hilarious experience that can make even the most mundane of tasks completely enjoyable lol As a psychiatric nurse (and also a being who can really feel the feels), I particularly love both Shane and Ramin’s openness about their own experiences with mental health fluctuations and use of psychedelics. Their relatable vulnerability and honest sense of humor about our collective existential crisis is what we all need a little more of in our week. Thanks guys!

Definitely not weekly, but still great.

Love these guys - I personally like the show best when it’s just those two blabbing about whatever, but the recent changes and reformatting don’t come as a surprise.
The show is listed as updated weekly, but listeners expecting a weekly update are going to get frustrated. Not a huge deal to those familiar with the hosts, but maybe change that description to “updated whenever they can squeeze it in”.
