How Loss Shaped Us: Overachieving vs. Rebellion

We experienced the same heartbreaking loss as teenagers. But it shaped us in completely different ways. I became the overachiever. The overfunctioner. The one who believed life was fragile, so I had to make every moment count. My brother, Steven, went the opposite direction. If life was short, why follow the rules? Why care so much? His grief showed up as rebellion. In this deeply personal conversation, we reflect on losing our older brother, how that experience quietly shaped our identities, and the survival strategies we unknowingly carried into adulthood. Whether you've become the person who always has it together or the one who pushes against expectations, this conversation is an invitation to look beneath the surface and ask what story your life has been telling since your hardest moments. This is Part 1 of our conversation. In Part 2, we'll explore how we each found our way back to ourselves and began creating lives rooted in intention, joy, and genuine fulfillment. It's Time to Love the Sh*t Out of Yourself

What does it actually mean to love yourself? Not just the polished, successful parts, but the messy, uncomfortable, deeply human parts too? In this heartfelt conversation, I sit down with my dear friend Kat Harmon to celebrate the release of her new book, It's Time to Love the Sh*t Out of Yourself. Together, we explore the stories that shaped us, the identities we've outgrown, and the courage it takes to let every version of ourselves belong. Kat shares the deeply personal journey behind writing her book, from navigating postpartum depression, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges to rebuilding trust with herself and discovering what self-love truly looks like beyond the social media buzzwords. Along the way, we talk about: Why healing begins with radical honestyThe difference between nervous system regulation and nervous system awarenessHow our relationships evolve as we learn to love ourselvesThe grief of letting go of old identities Why you can't bully yourself into a better lifeThe four practices that helped Kat transform her life This isn't just a conversation about self-love. It's about becoming safe enough to be fully yourself, embracing every chapter of your story, and discovering that the parts you've tried hardest to hide may be the very parts that deserve the most compassion. If you've ever felt like you were carrying too much, questioning your worth, or trying to become someone else in order to be loved, this conversation is for you. Healthy Coparenting: Choosing the Kids Over the Conflict

In this heartfelt conversation, Jasmine sits down with her coparent, Chris, to explore what healthy coparenting can look like when two people choose to prioritize their children over resentment, conflict, and old wounds. Together, they share their journey of transitioning from partners to coparents, the intentional choices they've made to create a sense of family for their children, and why they've refused to make each other the enemy. They discuss the impact separation can have on children, the importance of allowing kids to love both parents freely, and what it means to model respect, cooperation, and emotional maturity after a relationship ends. Whether you're navigating coparenting yourself, healing from a difficult separation, or simply curious about creating healthier family dynamics, this conversation offers a hopeful reminder that family doesn't have to end when a relationship does, it can evolve. In this episode:• Separating relationship hurt from parenting responsibilities• Why children should never feel pressured to choose sides• Creating a sense of family after separation• Navigating holidays, milestones, and new partners• The lessons we've learned along the way• What we hope our children carry forward into their own relationships Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give our children isn't a perfect family, it's a peaceful one. Letting Yourself Be Seen: Becoming the Main Character of Your Own Story

When was the last time you truly let yourself be seen? Not by other people, but by you. In this episode of Mindfully Amplified, Jasmine Vializ invites you into a deeply reflective conversation about self-witnessing, worthiness, and what happens when we stop living as a supporting character in our own lives. Through personal stories, lived experience, and gentle guidance, Jasmine explores how years of people-pleasing, self-sacrifice, and service to others can quietly erode our relationship with ourselves — often without us even realizing it. This episode introduces the transformative practice of mirror work as a pathway back home to yourself. Not as a tool for critique or fixing, but as an act of presence, appreciation, and self-regard. Jasmine shares how learning to witness herself, through eye contact, intentional reflection, and simple daily rituals; reshaped her sense of worthiness and changed the way she shows up in relationships, creativity, and life. You’ll hear reflections on:• Why being “selfless” can sometimes become self-neglect• How we unknowingly teach others how to treat us• What it means to be the main character of your own story• The connection between self-witnessing and healthier relationships• A simple, accessible mirror work practice you can begin today This episode is an invitation to pause, soften, and look inward to reclaim your place in your own life, your memories, and your story. You don’t need to perform, perfect, or become anything new. You simply need to begin seeing yourself. If you’ve ever struggled with being visible, worthy, or present in your own experience, this conversation is for you. Take a breath.Meet your own eyes. And let yourself be seen.
