Healing The Currency Paradigm with Hillary Augustine

Healing The Currency Paradigm with Hillary Augustine

If the topic of finances is a little tummy-turning, you are not alone. We have been programmed to think of money in very limited terms, and to many--especially creatives, intuitives, healers and rebels, financial savvy might just feel like a big ol' club that we're not a part of.
Enter our guest, Hillary Augustine, author of The Currency Paradigm. She joins us today to explore a recognition, reframing, and reunification of the alternative forms of abundance that flow when we step out of what she calls the Misguided Money Matrix.
“Anytime a currency isn’t shared or measured, it’s less likely to be valued” says Hillary. Time and Money are quickly accepted by the world as quantifiable currencies. Energy and Space.... well, those are qualitative currencies whose value is more subtle. Hillary Augustine is here to show us how the dialectic between the qualitative and quantitative can heal and help craft your unique path to financial wholeness, working from the inside out.
Through her coaching and consulting, Hillary bends limits and challenges norms. Her unique way of seeing and being is mirrored in her writing, her life, and her work. She has completed both a Master's in Counseling and a Master's in Accounting, representing her love of learning and exploration. Her favorite life degree comes from traveling. She crosses both literal and metaphorical borders as her free-spirited, non-conformist self soaks in the medicine of journeying.

Near Infrared: Bring the Outdoor Light Back In

Near Infrared: Bring the Outdoor Light Back In

While accessories and apps for blocking blue light and adding some red light into your home are a step in the right direction for managing toxic light environments, it’s not enough. Most people don’t know anything about lighting and its extraordinary impact on health.
As the lighting industry developed fluorescents, compact fluorescents, and LEDs to deliver much-needed energy efficiency, it focused on lighting spaces instead of light’s interaction with the human body. At the time, the positive health benefits of near-infrared energy were largely unknown. The near-infrared spectrum that is present in natural sunlight was not included in these energy efficient bulbs. They only included the visible light spectrum.
Our guest Scott Zimmerman- optics engineer and multiple patent holder, illuminates us on the topic of the nonvisible light spectrum and why near-infrared light exposure matters to our health and what to do to improve our lighting environment.

Near Death Experience: Medicine From The Other Side.

Near Death Experience: Medicine From The Other Side.

    With Louisa Peck

    Life can be utterly confusing.

We may try and seek answers outside of ourselves, attempt to end our pain with endless indulgence and pleasure, and ultimately become estranged from other beings and our own divinity due to a prevailing illusion of separateness. What if this small view of life were changed in an instant, due to a profoundly objective glimpse from the "Other Side?"

Our guest, Louisa Peck was raised to view God as nothing more than a human concept and-spiritualism as a form of superstition. Then, in 1982 at a Manhattan nightclub, she suffered a cardiac arrest brought on by lidocaine poisoning. She shot out of her body, and experienced an other-worldly journey to her god source – the Sun. As a "full-fledged woo-woo", Louisa found community among fellow Near-Death-Experiencers and became willing to share her story.
Her mission: To overcome the egoic challenges that all humans face. With humor and humility, we’re here to turn fear, anger, selfish greed and gloating pride into love and compassion for all life, with Love being our purpose here on earth.

Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda with Dr. Archana Ramola

Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda with Dr. Archana Ramola

Mindfulmedicina in India? It’s true. That happened.
Hot on the heels of our conversation with Dr. Jack Kruse on the future of decentralized medicine comes this visit to its ancient roots. Janell traveled to India again last November and stayed at an Ayurvedic healing center. She interviewed Dr. Archana Ramola, practitioner and advocate of Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda (SBEBA).
Sadly, over the ages Ayurveda has largely slipped into conventional, commercialized patterns, much like allopathic and even modern Naturopathic medicine has. The emphasis on diet, lifestyle and simple interface with nature has given way to over-prescribing long lists of herbs and supplements, forsaking an individualized diagnostic process for formulaic protocols. Essentially, treating symptoms rather than root cause.
Dr. Archana Ramola explains how SBEBA has resurrected and standardized the training of pure Ayurveda as a fully accessible form of decentralized medicine.

Dr. Jack Kruse: Decentralized Medicine and Natural Law

Dr. Jack Kruse: Decentralized Medicine and Natural Law

What does it mean to "decentralize" medicine? In today's chat with Dr. Jack Kruse, we'll explore some of the foundational principles that define this concept. The premise is a return to Nature as our primary physician. Sound simple?
The complexity lies in the various ways in which we must dismantle a lifetime of indoctrination within the "centralized" medical matrix. Dr Kruse-a self-professed "mitochondriac," offers insights on mitochondrial dynamics as well as the role of light, magnetism, and water in healing. Don't miss his fascinating reflections on how the trail of decentralized medicine and money (in the form of Bitcoin) is being blazed in the country of El Salvador, where Dr Kruse currently practices and resides as a growing figure of influence.
