Episode 18 - Are you feeling unfulfilled?

This episode is about being honest about how we feel and to not feel guilty if we feel unfulfilled. I on occasion feel really guilty because I have more than most. Yes, the cost of living will affect me, but I have a nice home, holidays, food warmth, the county side, But I feel guilty sometimes because I feel unfulfilled. Maybe I should feel fulfilled, maybe I should feel grateful for what I do have in my life, but I don't. Is that bad? How are you feeling with your life right now? Has what I said tapped you on your shoulder, flipped your tummy. Are you nodding your head. Why should we feel guilty for wanting more out of our lives. Episode 17 - Restriction

This week’s episode is all about restricting ourselves. Including 3 steps you can take to get yourself out of the rut you may feel you’re in. I end this episode with a poem, which I really hope you enjoy and that resonates with you. Do you sometimes feel “stuck in a rut” or dissatisfied with your life And that nagging believe there is little you can do about it? Do you want to move forward in life, but you don’t seem to be able to? If so, you’re probably restricting yourself, putting limits on yourself. The good news is that you can do something about it. Episode 16 - What you focus on increases

Episode 15 - Gratitude is the success turbo-charger

This episode is about how feeling grateful for the small things in life can bring huge rewards as more wonderful things start to appear. Gratitude is one of the most powerful emotions there is for bringing what you desire into your life. Now, I will be honest with you, if you are new to this you will find it strange, maybe even hard to do, not that I’m saying you don’t have any good things going on in your life, it’s because we automatically look for the big things not the small things that you may think are insignificant. But once we focus on the small things trust me the big things will show up. I suggest you start by listing a few of your favourite things. A song A film A person An activity A hot bubble bath/ long shower Your daily walk By thinking of your favourite things will help to stir those gratitude feelings. Then take one or two from your list and list what parts make you feel good. The hot bubble baths What would you be grateful for? The hot water The steam The time given to you The feeling of how your body relaxes into the water The warm towel and how soft it feels against your skin etc. Take sometime at the end of each day to think about and list what you've been grateful for, trust me it will be worth all the effort. I am so excited and welcome to Episode One of I'll do it tomorrow (Maybe) I'm so, so excited that you're actually here with me. I have thought about doing a podcast for so long now and I've put it off so many times, I just wasn't making the decision to actually do it. I thought everything had to be perfect. Everything had to be right. Sometimes we can put it off so long that we just don't ever get it done. So here I am, episode one In this episode I want to tell you a little bit more about what the podcasts are going to be about moving forward, and most importantly, a little bit about me. My name is Janet. I call myself a visibility coach, I'm the ultimate business buddy and a no-nonsense therapist. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, EFT practitioner, NLP Coach. Journal therapist, Mindfulness Teacher, excellent listening and your new best friend. During the coming episodes we're going to be looking at our self-belief, confidence, communication, perceptions, looking at how to say no, when we don't really want to do something, our independence, our self-respect, fear and any other amazing subjects that come along. There's going to be tips, tools, techniques, advice, encouragement, but above all, there's going to be support. My journey started as a therapist over 15 years ago, after I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I was lucky I only had a hysterectomy and didn’t require any further treatment. I’d been in a job for 17 and a half years sitting at the same desk dealing with the same people. And I'd got to the point where I just couldn’t do it any longer. When you get a diagnosis of that kind, it does change your outlook on life. It does change who you are as a person really. And I wanted to do more. My dream when I was younger, was to be a social worker. And I suppose being a therapist or a coach or a business buddy it’s very similar. So, in a way I am fulfilling what I ultimately wanted to do. I will be giving you my thoughts on things that I've come across, talking about my story, my journey that might actually resonate with your journey, and the things that I did to resolve those. Having a lot of tools in my toolbox that I've learned through learning and hypnotherapy and different other therapies. I'm going to share some of those tips with you so that you can actually use them in your life and to make your life easier. I’m also going to interview some amazing women that also have some amazing stories of the decisions they didn't make or wish they'd made earlier, or the decisions that they did make and the amazing outcome that happened after that.
