    It's so hard to say goodbye... it's the very last episode of Minority Korner. Nnekay is back to help James close it out, and they both just took a DNA test and it turns out they’re 100%: a bunch of things!     Surprise, it’s a bonus episode! We are bringing you the best of last week's Get On Up! W/ James and Renee (Can I pet Your dog) the new live daily morning show. We chat about The Royal Family and their ill timed tour of Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Belize, it did not go as planned as they were met with protests and backlash. People have had it with their colonizers! Childhood stars Selena Gomez and Raven Simone still have a good head on their shoulders from being off social media for so long. Does this mean we’d all be better without it? Are we all addicted? Then it's time to play This or That as James takes us through a multiverse journey and what would we do if your significant other's parents meddled in your relationship? And we play a game where you decide if Jared Leto, and Alexander Sarsguard, in their latest scenarios are wildin’ or workin' it! Lastly, it's JAM You Lyin!     MK346: If You’re Black- Rest is Resistance (The Batman, Moon Knight, Harry Potter Reunion Call Out, The Nap Ministry)

    We had to bring MacKenzie because who else would we talk about DC with? SPOILERS AHEAD! We need to discuss Matt Reeves’ The Batman. DC finally said, “let's make a good movie!” Even though it was 3 hours- but we’re here for it! Everything from the Joker, to The Riddler, to Zoe Kravitz epitome of Catwoman - we break it down, along with what would have been in the Zack Snyder era Batman. Sigh. The director of Moon Night Mohamed Diab, while on a press tour says Egypt will finally be getting its roses by actually being portrayed authentically, and names some names of who has failed recently, looking at you Wonder Woman. Also we have to talk about the Harry Potter reunion and we have A LOT of notes! In the main korner MacKenzie gives it to us straight up: rest is resistance.     Of course we’re going to talk about this historic Oscars where Ariana DeBose (The first Latina to win since Rita Moreno) Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina King hosting and of course That Slap…though we will need white folks to refrain from commenting for 5 business days. These things affect Black folks differently due to linked lineage- we discuss. Speaking of complicated black issues, Jussie Smollett has been sentenced, and James saw Todrick Hall live, after his problematic Celebrity Big Brother stint. In the main korner James talks about the new show “The Problem with Jon Stewart '' and is an episode of white people talking about racism, how it went awry and gave a glimpse into the minds of white folks and the challenges ahead in dismantling white supremacy. Plus things white folks should and can do to combat racism in their worlds.     MK343: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Woman (Ukraine, Racism in Ukraine, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Tupac, Spider Woman Valerie the Librarian)

    This week while our hearts break for the people of Ukraine we can’t help but notice the different treatment these refugees are getting compared with ones from the Middle East or Africa. And Black Africans trying to flee Ukraine are being met with some racist practices in Ukraine. What’s the best way to give feedback? We’re here to help!  In more fun news, James has come out of his Little Mix hole to experience all the amazing Black music occuring in hip hop, R&B, and pop from Saweetie to Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, H.E.R., and more!
