Thriving Dry Eye: Dr Mahnia Madan

Dr. Madan is the immediate Past President for BC Doctors of Optometry. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the Eye Center of Texas in Houston and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Madan has lectured on the management of advanced dry eye disease and glaucoma throughout North America. She contributes to the field as a member of the editorial boards for Women in Optometry and Modern Optometry and has authored various publications in Review of Optometry, Optometry Times, Modern Optometry, and Eyes On Eyecare. Dr. Madan is also a lecturer at Pacific University, College of Optometry. Amanda V. has been a dry eye patient since August 18, 2021 after an adverse reaction to dilation and numbing drops. Since then she has tried traditional pharmaceuticals, as well as biological treatments for her dry eye condition. She has been diagnosed with meibomian gland dysfunction and Aquious deficiency . She is passionate about finding the root causes to inflammation. She is married with two children and is committed to feeling well not only for herself to , but her family. Dr. Ada Noh, OD, is the founder of Noh Eyes, where she specializes in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease.
