A classic duel in the 1980s

Lancia had been working undercover in a project called 037. It was a rally car based on the Lancia Montecarlo sports coupe, which had been beautifully styled by the legendary Pininfarina design studio, which was behind the design of every Ferrari built since the 1950s. The great Fletcher experiment

After watching "Greyhound", an incredibly good movie about antisubmarine warfare in WWII, I fell in love with the actual hero of the story. Not Tom Hanks, but the USS ¨Keeling¨ (call name ¨Greyhound¨), the Fletcher-class destroyer under Ernest Krause´s command, a delightful performance from Tom Hanks, who is becoming the Spencer Tracy of the XXI century. Given my current fascination with scale modelling, I got a set of Polish-made papercraft templates that will enable anybody with enough patience to build a 1:200 scale model of a Fletcher.
