    The Prayer Of Epaphras

Like the Prayer of Jabez, the Prayer of Epaphras reminds us that even someone little-known can make a huge impact. Your prayers make an impact too.In Colossians 4:12, we see Epaphras described as “always laboring in prayer” for the believers—agonizing in prayer so that they may stand complete in God’s will. The Greek word used here (ag-o-NEED-zom-eye) is the same root as “agony.” Epaphras prayed with intensity, passion, and travail for the church he helped found. This message explores:- Epaphras’ example of deep, fervent prayer (Col. 1:3–7, 2:1, 4:12).- The difference between vain repetition and true spiritual intensity (Matt. 6:7).- The call for believers today to rediscover “agonizing prayer,” not through empty theatrics, but by aligning with the heart of God.- How revival begins with prayer that aches for God’s kingdom to come.- Romans 8:26 and the Spirit’s role in interceding for us with groans too deep for words.- The sharpening of our spiritual weapons (1 Sam. 13:19–20) for the days we live in.Recently, a movement of churches in New England entered into covenant together to pray for revival. In that moment of travail, the Spirit moved powerfully—even among those who normally shy away from public prayer. This is the kind of prayer we need in our time.🔥 It’s time to labor in prayer like Epaphras. To ache, to weep, to groan before the Lord. To sharpen our spiritual weapons and seek revival in our day.📖 Scriptures: Colossians 1:3–7; Colossians 2:1; Colossians 4:12; Matthew 6:7; 1 Kings 18; Romans 8:26; 1 Samuel 13:19–20#mitzvot #Jewish #shabbat #shalom #blowtheshofar #Shofarblast #MishkahnDavidRI #Tenakh #Bible #Torah #webelieve #BritChadasha #Godbreathed #wordofgod #inspired #messianicjudaism #messianic #christian #yeshua #faith #jesus #love #theway #biblicalmonth #biblicalcalendar #theway #thetruth #thelife #life #hope #love #birth #bornagain #moses #moshe #parshat #torahportion #Israel #prayer #Epaphras #Jabez #Paul #Ferventprayer #Colossians

    While You Weren't Looking

In this message, Rabbi Brian shares how God often works behind the scenes, blessing us even when we don’t see it—like a double rainbow he missed, but which God gave as a sign of His goodness. Life may feel uncertain, but Scripture reminds us that our steps are ordered by the Lord when we delight in Him (Psalm 37:23). Even in moves or seasons that felt like mistakes, God was preparing something better, answering before we called (Isaiah 65:24).Rabbi Brian emphasizes that life is not random. For those who trust in Yeshua, all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5–6).He also points to the city of refuge in Torah: the one who fled there could only be released by the death of the high priest (Numbers 35:25). In the same way, it is the death of our High Priest, Yeshua, that sets us free from captivity, cancels the avenger’s claim, and brings us into the kingdom. His substitutionary death transforms us from captives into children of the King.Rabbi Brian’s message is clear: Delight in Him. Trust in Him. He has good plans. #whileyouwerentlooking #notlooking #away #unseen #Godsplans #GoodGod #GoodFather #mitzvot #Jewish #shabbat #shalom #blowtheshofar #Shofarblast #MishkahnDavidRI #Tenakh #Bible #Torah #webelieve #BritChadasha #Godbreathed #wordofgod #inspired #messianicjudaism #messianic #christian #yeshua #faith #jesus #love #theway #thetruth #thelife #life #hope #love #moses #moshe #parshat #torahportion #Israel #nothingisrandom #HighPriest #TrustGod #Godsplan #setusfree #free #freedom

    Firm Foundation

Join Rabbi Brian Samuel for an in-depth sermon on the core beliefs of Mishkahn David. This teaching lays out our five foundational pillars:1️⃣ God – The oneness of God as declared in the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4), and the triune nature of the one true God revealed throughout Scripture.2️⃣ The Word of God – The immutable, unchanging Word from Genesis to Revelation, and how the Torah is for all believers to grow in righteousness and truth.3️⃣ Atonement & Salvation – Salvation is only through Messiah Yeshua, the one and only way to reconciliation with God.4️⃣ The Body of Messiah – God’s plan for Jew and Gentile together as one new man in Messiah (Ephesians 2:14-16).5️⃣ Israel – Our unwavering support for the nation of Israel, recognizing 1948 as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy, not politics.📖 Whether you are Jewish or Gentile, new to the faith or a lifelong believer, this message will strengthen your understanding of Messianic Judaism and God’s eternal promises.🔍 Keywords: Messianic Jewish teaching, Mishkahn David, Rabbi Brian, Shema, Oneness of God, Triune nature of God, Torah for believers, Messiah Yeshua, Atonement in Yeshua, Salvation in Yeshua, Jew and Gentile together, One New Man, Biblical prophecy fulfilled, Israel 1948 prophecy, support for Israel, Messianic congregation#Messianic #MishkahnDavid #Yeshua #Torah #Israel #MessianicJudaism #mitzvot #Jewish #shabbat #shalom #blowtheshofar #Shofarblast #MishkahnDavidRI #Tenakh #Bible #Torah #webelieve #BritChadasha #Godbreathed #wordofgod #inspired #messianicjudaism #messianic #christian #yeshua #faith #jesus #love #theway #biblicalmonth #biblicalcalendar #theway #thetruth #thelife #life  #hope #love #birth #midwife #moses #moshe #parshat #torahportion #Israel
