Missing the Missing is a true crime podcast which focuses on missing persons and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance. Are they really missing? Do they want to be found? Was foul play involved or were they the victim of an unfortunate accident to which they were the only witness? It’s our hope to get to the bottom of what really happens when someone goes missing without a trace. To bring resolution and some sort of closure to loved ones who are left with more questions than answers. No one simply disappears. These are the stories, the lives of real people.     Ep. 10 // Chloie Leverette & Gage Daniel ~ Unionville, TN

    Is it possible for a person to be consumed by a fire, with no trace of evidence found to support it? Is it possible that 2 people die in the same fire, but no evidence of either is found? That is the question we’ll be tackling today in episode 10 as we delve into the lives of Chloie Leverette and Gage Daniel. Chloie, was nine and her half-brother Gage, was 7 at the time that they both disappeared on September 23, 2012. 2 children whose remains were not found in the rubble with their deceased grandparents. What happened that bizarre and fateful night almost a decade ago? And most importantly, where are Chloie and Gage today? This is a cold case, but it is still an open investigation. The TBI has not given up. Please contact them with any relevant tips. Chloie Leverette was 9 years old, and Gage Daniel was 7 when they disappeared from their grandparent's farmhouse on the evening of September 23, 2012. Their grandparents, Molli and Bubba, both perished in the house fire. It is strongly believed that the children did not die in the fire. There are age progressed photos available that I will post.     Ep. 9 // Bryan "Vladek" Hasel - Orlando, FL

    UPDATE: The only update that has happened since this interview is that the manager of Foxtail clarified that the person who made the initial complaint regarding Vladek on Fri 11/5/21 came back to Foxtail later that night after Vladek had left and alerted employees that he witnessed Vladek with a knife….since FoxTail has a zero weapon policy they had decided to go ahead and trespass Vladek the next time he came into the business. If you were at Foxtail Coffee Co (12001 Collegiate Way, Orlando FL 32817) on Nov 5th/6th 2021 or witnessed Vladek at some other point please email Night Owl Reconnaissance - Info@nightowlrecon.org When Vladek Hasel went missing in November 2021, no one was the wiser. His family was out of town and he didn’t have a job he had to report to. When his dad returned 10 days later Vlad was nowhere to be found. Did he finally follow through with his talk of living off the grid? Did he fall deeper into a depression, ultimately harming himself? Did he become the victim of foul play because of his kindness toward others? There are many possibilities to consider but one crucial question begs the utmost importance – where is Vladek Hasel today? On November 5, 2021, Vladek’s father, Steve, left town with family members, including Valdek’s mom, for a ten day trip out of state. His parents have been divorced since 2017 but still get along terrifically hence the carpooling for the family trip. This was a trip that Vladek had taken before, it was an outdoorsy kind of thing to celebrate his sister Bethany’s birthday. Vlad had gone the year prior in 2020. He was invited this go round too, but chose to stay home alone instead. This was a last minute decision but not unusual for him to change his mind on something. On the evening of November 5th, after his dad had left, Vladek went to hang out at the Foxtail Coffee shop, one of his favorite spots. It’s around a half hour walk, by normal roads. It has been recently uncovered that Vladek had taken a new pocketknife with him, that he had purchased previously that week. He had made comments that he bought it for “protection”, but it was a general comment and not substantiated by and particular event. He allegedly had the pocketknife visible on the table he was sitting at. Supposedly he wasn’t being threatening or violent with the knife, but had made someone or someone’s feel uncomfortable during his visit. He eventually left and presumably went back home. Between 7-8am on November 6th Vladek made his way back to Foxtail. It’s not certain how the sequence of events unfolded exactly but this is when Vladek was trespassed by police for the incident happening the night before. Once he left the coffee shop it’s said he was seen walking toward Wawa, a convenience store, that’s 2 businesses west of Foxtail. That is the last time anyone sees Vladek that we also have an additional piece of information to back it up with. Vladek Hasel is a Caucasian male born on December 20, 1998 with brown hair and blue eyes. Vladek is 5’8” tall and weighs 220 pounds. Vladek was last known to be wearing a black hoodie/jacket and khaki shorts with black crew socks and red slide sandals prior to his disappearance.     Ep. 8 // Part 2 -- Daniel Reynolds, Tristan Branstetter & Jona Tipps - Washington State

    This week I’m actually continuing on my journey with you into the disappearance of Daniel Reynolds. In the first episode that I initially paired with Gary Bell, I had focused on Daniel and the circumstances surrounding him going missing. What I went on to find out was that Daniel was indeed with others when he disappeared. I then went on to edit that episode to cover Gary individually and give Daniel his own episode, including his friends that went missing along side him. Since last week, I feel as if I’m peeling an onion. I keep uncovering more and more information. But in doing that I’m also revealing conflicting stories and accounts of what happened in September 2021. Daniel Reynolds was born on August 24, 1993. He went missing in September of 2021. The last time it’s believed he was heard from was September 9th by Chris Thomas who he was going to meet up with in the Seattle area. Apparently he was supposed to be there on September 11th for a free car he was getting from Chris, but Daniel’s friend Wilson states that he last saw him leaving the Aberdeen area on September 12th. What we know is that Daniel never showed up to meet Chris. Wilson reported Daniel missing to Aberdeen police on November 24th and his case was input into NAMUS December 17, 2021. Here are the current facts: Daniel, Tristan and Jona are missing and haven’t been heard from since September 2021. Daniel’s RV is missing as well as Tristan’s 2001 PT Cruiser. It’s possible the PT Cruiser is in a tow yard in the Aberdeen area. Where Jona has not been heard from, she may not have went missing at the same time as Daniel and Tristan, but this is unconfirmed and unfortunately can’t be confirmed unless additional information is revealed. It’s possible the last known location of Daniel and Tristan is in Elma, WA, but again that is not 100% verifiable. Most of what we know comes from Daniel’s friend Wilson. Daniel Reynolds is a 28 year old white male with black hair and brown eyes. His hair was shorter when last seen, but it may have grown out again like he has it in the pictures I’ve posted. He’s about 5’8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He has tattoos on his upper right arm and 2 names on his back. He is driving a Tioga RV with Oregon plate #16050. The front window is covered with glue; the front top corner has duct tape and the mirrors hang down. He was driving a 2001 dark blue PT Cruiser, that may now be in a tow yard in the Aberdeen area. He was traveling at one point with his girlfriend Jona Tipps, a 20 year old white female with blue eyes and unknown hair color. But it is uncertain now if they were together at the time he and Daniel left Aberdeen. To be clear she is currently unaccounted for as well. I am considering her a missing person until proven otherwise.     Ep. 7 // Part 1 -- Daniel Reynolds, Tristan Branstetter & Jona Tipps - Washington State

    Daniel Reynolds was born on August 24, 1993, making him 28 years old. He went missing in September of 2021. Daniel was technically homeless, but living in his camper van, which was an old Tioga RV. He had been offered a free car from the sister of a friend of his, Chris. Chris is the friend that last heard from Daniel on September 9, 2021. Daniel was supposed to meet Chris at the Red Roof hotel near the Seattle airport to pick up the car. He never showed up or contacted anyone again. Daniel had met up with his friend Tristan and his girlfriend Jona in the Aberdeen, WA Walmart parking lot. They formed the plan to go pick up the car from Chris. Presumably Daniel would drive his RV and Tristan would drive his PT Cruiser w/ Jona as the passenger, all headed for Tacoma. Once there one of them would then drive the car. While at the Aberdeen Walmart police actually had told Daniel he’d have to move off the property. They all headed toward Tacoma, but Daniel’s RV developed a flat tire on the way, prompting them to stop at a rest stop in Elma, WA. Elma is about 30 minutes west of Aberdeen. Daniel called another friend, Will, when this happened to come help him out. When Will arrived, he didn’t see Daniel or any evidence of him being there. That was the last time anyone had spoken to Daniel. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since then. And neither has Tristan or Jona.     Gary Bell was born on July 22, 1949 and was 33 years old when he went missing on March 2, 1983. Gary was last seen in Tacoma, Washington on this date. At the time of his disappearance, Gary was living in Spokane, WA with his wife of one month. He was working for Rainier Shows, a carnival company in the area, and living in their 1974 Ford Econoline van, with a Washington license plate number of EQA-043. Gary had left Spokane for Tacoma on March 2, 1983 in his van to contact his employer regarding a work-related detail in Vancouver, Washington. Gary contacted his employer in the early evening hours and was last seen leaving for Vancouver. Gary never made it to his destination and was never seen again.     Minisode 1 // Naomi Irion - Fernley, Nevada ~ ABDUCTED

    On Saturday March 12, 2022 Naomi Irion was in the driver’s seat of her car in the Fernley, NV Walmart parking lot at about 5:09 a.m. getting ready to get out to get onto a shuttle bus. This shuttle bus would then transport employees of the Panasonic company to the Panasonic plant in Sparks, NV, about a 20 min drive away. She’s in her car and in an unreleased surveillance video from the sheriff’s office a man is seen walking up to Irion’s car from the direction of a nearby homeless camp (not necessarily that he IS homeless, but he was coming from that direction). The video shows him getting into the driver’s seat of Irion’s car at 5:24 am and then driving off, with her in the passenger seat. He somehow managed to coerce Naomi into the passenger side of the vehicle. Irion’s car, a 1992 Mercury Sable, was found behind the Sherwin Williams in Fernley. The store is located at 1891 Duffy Road, less than a mile away from the Walmart at 1550 West Newlands Drive East, where she was abducted. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said “The vehicle has since been retrieved, searched and forensically analyzed. Forensic evidence has been recovered and is being expedited for testing through the Washoe County Forensic Investigation Section.” The vehicle was found March 15th, 3 days after she went missing. Officials are now looking into the possibility the suspect in her disappearance may be driving a dark-colored 2020 or newer Chevrolet 2500 High Country four-door pickup truck. The driver of the truck is believed to have “a direct connection to her disappearance and her current whereabouts,” sheriff’s officials say. Naomi Irion is 5’11” and has dyed black hair and green eyes. She also has a septum piercing in her nose. She was last seen wearing a blue Panasonic T-shirt, a gray cardigan sweater, gray pants and brown boots. She was carrying a black purse. The possible suspect was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans or pants.     Ep. 5 // Cinda Pallett & Charlotte Kinsey - Oklahoma City

    It was a warm and fairly windy day in Oklahoma City on September 26, 1981. Cinda and Charlotte were excited to attend the fair together that afternoon. It was the first time they were allowed to go by themselves. Around 5:00pm both girls called home and talked to their mothers. Charlotte told her mom that they had both been offered jobs helping a carnival worker unload stuffed animals from a truck. Her mom, Paula, agreed to the request, but told Charlotte she needed to call at 9:00pm. Cinda’s mom, Norma, told Cinda to do the same thing, as they were planning a sleepover and Norma needed to know where to pick them up from. The girls were last seen at the fairground at 5:30pm that evening. Neither of the girls called home at the 9pm deadline. Through many twists, turns, lies and dead ends we now know the girls are most likely victims of murder. But where are their remains? Will they ever be found? Charlotte June Kinsey was last seen at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City, on September 26, 1981. She was 13 years old and was last seen wearing a dark maroon short-sleeved pullover blouse with white stripes on the sleeves and white trim on the sleeves and neck, wearing blue jeans and Nike tennis shoes. She also had a wedding band-type ring on her right ring finger. At the time of her disappearance, she stood between 5’0″ and 5’1″ and weighed 100 pounds. She had shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair and blue/grey eyes. She has a triangular-shaped birthmark on her lower back, near her waistline, and a small dot-shaped scar below her left eye. She has silver caps on her lower front teeth, and her ears are pierced. Cinda Leann Pallett was also last seen at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her friend Charlotte. She was 13 years old and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with dark blue sleeves, the ZZ Top logo on the front and the number 81 on the back, size 12 slim blue jeans, a rope belt made of braided orange/rust-colored nylon with a leather buckle with her name tooled in it. She had on two-tone blue Nike sneakers with black waffle soles. At the time of her disappearance, she stood at 5’0″ and weighed 88 pounds. She had shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She has a small scar below the corner of her left eyebrow and wears a dental retainer behind her lower front teeth.     Sydney Kaitlyn West was 19 years old when she went missing from San Francisco, CA on Sept. 30, 2020.  She was last seen at approximately 6:45 a.m. PT entering the Golden Gate Bridge.  There has been no activity on her phone, bank accounts, or social media accounts since that day. She is 5’10, with blue eyes, blond hair and about 130 lbs. She was last seen wearing dark leggings, a light teal hoodie, and Vans sneakers with a tropical print on them.  Her hair was in a bun on top of her head and she may have been carrying a black backpack.     Ep. 3 // Gavin Octaviano - Golden Gate Bridge

    Gavin Octaviano was just a few days shy of his 22nd birthday when he went missing on November 23, 2018. He was last seen on a restaurant’s video surveillance near where he had parked, heading toward the south entrance of the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather conditions were typical for that time of year, it had rained on and off all day with fog in the area as well, especially later into the evening. The temperature was a cool 61 degrees when he would have been walking around there, around 5:20 pm. He was last seen wearing a heather grey North Face hoodie with a blue and black plaid shirt, dark blue jeans, and white Nike Free shoes. Gavin is 5’11, 175 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and is of Asian American decent. People were around this area at the time he vanished. And if the keys are truly in the Plumas National Forest area it is likely there are many other instances others could have seen him as well.     Enrique Rios was born on January 2, 2000, he was 16 years old when he went missing on October 16, 2016 from Esparto, CA. He was last seen by his mother that evening around 9pm at their home. When she woke up the next morning Enrique wasn’t there. Elijah Moore was born on November 3, 1999, he had just turned 17 the day before he went missing on November 4, 2016 from Woodland, CA. He attended school and was last seen at a check cashing store that afternoon. Where are Enrique and Elijah? Searches have been conducted in the Knights Landing area, where they were said to have been. This is about 30 miles north of Sacramento. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the location of Enrique and Elijah. The FBI, Yolo County Sheriff's Office, and Woodland Police Department continue to seek information from the public that would assist in locating both boys.
