Missing is a true crime podcast that tells stories of missing people, homicides, and injustices. Starting in 2015 with the disappearance of Maura Murray, Missing has covered the vanishings of Brianna Maitland, Brandon Lawson, Phoenix Coldon, Trenny Gibson, Daniel Robinson, Jessica Stacks, Erica Franolich, Cieha Taylor, Calvin Johnny Hunt, Abbie Flynn, Tabitha Queen, Raymond Green, Alicia Markovich, Niqui McCown, Samantha Tapp, Archer Ray Johnson, Dale Williams, Morgan Bauer, Pepita Redhair and more mysteries in depth. Due to their close affiliation with the non-profit organization, Private Investigations For the Missing, the team features stories sourced from their case files when appropriate. While Missing primarily focuses on unsolved cases, they also highlight solved murders, doe’s, DNA updates, cold cases and serial killers like Christopher Wilder as a way to explore all the factors. Whether it’s psychological, socioeconomic, or something deeper that plays a part in a person’s disappearance, Missing does not shy away. Missing also has an impressive guest list with names like Jon Ronson, Maggie Freleng, Todd Matthews, Sarah Turney, John Lordan, Danelle Hallan, Julie Murray, James Renner, the Generation Why, Nancy Grace, True Crime Garage, Patrick Hinds, Ellyn Marsh, Jim Clemente, Art Roderick, David & Kristen Mittelman of Othram Labs as well as current law enforcement and licensed private investigators. Tim Pilleri and Lance Reenstierna were also featured in Oxygen's The Disappearance of Maura Murray 6 part documentary. Missing is hosted and produced by Tim Pilleri, Lance Reenstierna of Crawlspace Media.

Self Defense

Your podcast is usually very good. But in Episode 512 you show a stunning lack of understanding of the laws of self defense. There are many resources available, and although laws do vary slightly from state to state, there are more similarities than differences.

Great Podcast if you like true crime and missing people episodes
You had me until…

You saw a demon. Teenagers and early twenty-sometimes can fool themselves very easily, especially if they are experiencing strong emotions related to parental separation and divorce, and have a battle stance against previous indoctrination of certain belief. In these situations it’s common for young, struggling individuals to turn in a completely different direction because they are in a retaliatory mode. For this adult man, and former under cover agent to believe he actually saw a demon, goes against his own education in psychology. Of all people he should understand the mechanisms in the human brain that can cause one to deceive themselves, especially a young, developing mind. The story was interesting until then. And fix the audio and delivery. One guy sounds like a lame AM radio host wannabe.
LOVE IT

I have been going back and listening to all the older episodes. Great show. On of my top 5 podcasts I listen to!

Devoted fan of the show, it can be infuriating when hosts lose sight of their true focus. True crime is about the stories, the mysteries, and the justice—NOT political lectures!
We’ve missed you guys!

This episode is very good to hear of helpful people who are working hard with investigation and hoping to engage law enforcement to give them support
Ridiculous

No wonder Maura Murray’s family came out with a very in-depth podcast. If I were part of her family and heard constant speculation for way too many episodes, I’d be mad too. Maybe stick to the facts you know and don’t inject hours of your own speculation, you only add to the rumor mill and if people want that, they can just go to the internet and reddit. I won’t be listening anymore only after episode 3, and I saw there are hundreds more episodes? I can’t even imagine.
Love you guys!!

I live in the southern part of the US. I am relatively new to the Maura Murray case. I listened to the Media Pressure podcast, watched the Oxygen docu, and watched some other documentaries as well. Why on earth did you give any attention to James Renner? He sounds like a wacko! He had to be harmful to the case. What a crazy distraction and opportunist! So many can write and secure publishing of a book nowadays though the content is garbage.
