    95. The Gnadenhutten Massacre: Racial Bias, Disinformation and Death

I suppose you could call this our Very Special Episode. The topic of Gnadenhutten is apropos considering the Implicit Cultural Bias and Overt Racism that have come across our media screens this week. Kiki takes us on a journey to where it all started and gets into the down and dirty of how our country was founded on the manipulation of these biases that will ultimately lead to the most horrific massacre of the Revolutionary War.

    * Our featured music today is from Gen and the Degenerates with their song " Runaway Blues".

    94. The Witch Diggers

    94. The Witch Diggers

The Bichshler Witch Diggers were a group of three siblings - Nick, Sam, and Susan Bischler - who lived in Indiana in the mid-19th century. The siblings claimed to be plagued by "witches" and became consumed with the idea that they were being haunted by them. This led to a period of monomania, during which the siblings dug a ditch so deep and wide that folks from around the farm, had no choice but to finally notice the mania. The story became a local legend, and the Bischler Witch Diggers are now remembered as an eerie example of the dangers of obsession and superstition. Is there anything paranormal to this story, or is this a case of mental instability brought on by PTSD and childhood trauma?

    * Our featured music in this episode is Two Witches with " The Last Day".

Spooky with comedic flair!

This isn't a podcast that will have you shaking in your boots, but it will definitely have you chuckling to yourself along with the cast as they recount historic and personal recollections of spooky events. Highly recommend giving them a listen!

Spooky with a healthy dose of research

The banter between the hosts is great and you can tell that beyond the chills and banter, that a lot of research went into it. Well, at least someone on the pod did a lot of research, other members… may be winging it, but that’s part of the charm. Good times, good spooks.
