Hello! Listening to you guys from El Paso, Texas! For a long period of time I lost communion with God because of the difficulty to find a church where the word resonated with me, especially in a small town where Catholicism is one of the main religions here. I was introduced to you guys by a fellow Christian who was a fan of your music, which led me to your guys worship music, then this amazing podcast.
Thank you guys for being so transparent and real, and for taking away the bad religious aspect people build around Christianity. You guys make listening to God and having communion with him seem like such a a simple and everyday thing, it has made want to incorporate it into my life. Every word you guys preach always reaching my heart and spirit, so i hope you guys are aware of the impact you guys have, all the way to Texas!

I heard a few insightful thoughts and I appreciate the use of several translations. I Started listening to this because I have been listening to Allie Paige’s music and she recommended this podcast. I’m always looking for new perspectives and Christian teaching. The proverbs are such a valuable resource for Christian living. The Bible itself is God breathed and should be treated as such. However, the passion translation is very dangerous and sectarian. I would recommend mike wingers breakdowns on this issue. Anyone pushing this as part of their teaching should throw up some major red flags. I hope this can all be taken with the love and grace I intend it. I’m not a KJV onlyist. This one translation (TPT) has some major concerns.
