Both Quinn and Allye have struggled with their identity over the years and this passion project has become a place for both of them to grow and learn more about themselves and to feel connected to something or someone in a way they hadn't before. Being biracial isn't always easy, and not everyone has a space to talk about. So they made one.

    Why is it so similar?

    Hey everyone! In this special episode of "Mixed Feelings," I sit down with one of my best friends, Leia Felicilda. Leia is half Hawaiian Native Pacific Islander, and this is a milestone for the podcast—it’s the first time I’m chatting with someone who isn’t mixed with black and white. Leia’s perspective was a revelation for me. Even though our backgrounds are different, our experiences growing up in predominantly white spaces felt eerily similar. It was incredible to see how much we had in common, and it just goes to show that many biracial kids face the same challenges and joys, no matter their specific ethnic mix.
