    Pride is Cancelled?!?!

We still have some outlets that are egregiously pushing the sexual identity on children, which should be outlawed entirely, but we also have entire state governments pushing back and renaming pride month into much more wholesome ideas.     How to PRAY For the Nation!

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Last weekend there was a massive, high profile prayer gathering on the National mall in Washington DC which was called "Rededicate 250 - A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving." This was organized as part of the celebration leading up to the nation's 250th anniversary.  The event transformed a section of the National Mall into an expansive, evangelical-style worship service. The day-long, eight-hour event was organized around three primary "pillars":   1. God's Providence: Reflecting on the role of faith throughout America's 250-year history.   2. Personal Testimonies: Sharing stories of personal and communal healing. 3.     Jesus is THE ONLY WAY

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: A prominent American politician who is also apparently Hindu has a conversation with a bystander about Jesus being ONE of the many ways to the one true God. Sadly, this is not what Christianity is. In fact, this is actually the CORE doctrine of Christianity. Jesus does not accept all roads. We have heard warnings from most of the news outlets, the previous Presidential administration and countless talking heads.  This month alone, there were FOUR attacks in America and they were not perpetrated by Christians. - Austin shooter - 'naturalized' citizen from Senegal - Muslim - NYC bombers - children of 'naturalized' citizens from Turkey and Afghanistan - Muslims  - Old Dominion Shooter - 'naturalized' citizen from Sierra Leone - Muslim  - Michigan synagogue attacker - 'legal immigrant' from Lebanon - Muslim Perhaps it is not Christian Nationalism that is the biggest threat to America right now?     Talarico's Terrible Theology

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: A divinity student and now Senate primary leader in the Democratic convention wants us to know what living out your faith really looks like. And spoiler, it's not like the Bible.  He wants you to affirm trans people and trans abortions.  And he's pro abortion without limits since they are supported in the Bible. He wants you to be a feminist, because Jesus was a feminist. Oh and God is non binary.  Perhaps we need to look more closely at theology to see what is going on here.
