Mnemosyne is a space for feminist storytelling, where we center conversations about feminist work and research across disciplines. The podcast series is hosted by Andrea Zerpa and Ameena Qobrtay.

In this episode of Mnemosyne, Andrea and Ameena interview former IRW Director Dr. Nicole Fleetwood, who is an author, curator, former professor of American Studies and Art History at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and current professor in NYU Steinhardt’s Department of Media, Culture, and Communication. Dr. Fleetwood was recently awarded the National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism and the 2021 MacArthur Fellowship. In this episode of Mnemosyne, Andrea and Ameena interview award-winning scholar, educator, and critic, Dr. Anette Freytag. She's an art historian and landscape architect. Her quest is to bring new impulses to landscape architecture by bridging the gap between landscape history and contemporary practice. Before joining the Department of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers in the Fall of 2016, she taught at Universities in Zurich, Basel, Innsbruck, Rapperswil, and Leuven.
