    Early COVID-19 Major Illness - An Epic Battle and Recovery by the Grace of God

    When no one knew what COVID-19 was, Lori and her husband were slammed with an unknown virus that quickly resulted in his medically induced coma on a ventilator.  No one had time to call Lori from the ICU to say "come and see him" because his illness advanced so rapidly.  Doctors told this beautiful woman she would need to say goodby to the love of her life though a glass window and that he would not be able to respond.  Lori, when confronted with his unacceptable impending death, refused to give up hope.  She rallied every prayer warrior she could muster to head into battle for her childhood sweetheart.  The heart-wrenching daily battles she fought mostly at home alone connected to friends only by Facebook are out-measured by his miraculous recovery, followed by the sweetest date at Sonic Drive-in for a soda when they were finally together again.
