Good episode!
Hey! I just listened to your military spouse episode and I thought it was great. My husband is in the air national guard and is currently deployed for 6 months. We don’t live on a base but close and he works out there daily (not all of those in ANG does but some do) so I understand the perspective of an active duty military spouse. We live a very similar life. Even when he isn’t deployed he travels very often. I agree it is so hard! I have three girls, 12, 9 & 2. This will be our first Christmas to not have him in the states so sad about that but really encouraging my girls to lean into this time so we can make special memories. I’m glad you guys touched on church because that is huge for us. We do have some family close (and my parents are three hours away) but that doesn’t guarantee childcare...so don’t assume it always makes it easier. But it can help at times. I have learned to depend on trusted friends and a good sitter lol but mainly the Lord. Thanks again for this. Good for me to hear from other military wives. Prayers for y’all! 🤗❤️
Enjoyable
I enjoy listening to these ladies share their thoughts and experiences. It’s wholesome, edifying, and I find the topics interesting even though I’m not a mom (just a mom wannabe). It helps me de-stress after a long week of work. Kinda like being out for coffee with the girlfriends, except I don’t have to leave the house.
Love these ladies!
Can’t get enough of this podcast! Highly recommend it to everyone. Love the perspective these two share on all sorts of topics 🙌🏼👌🏼💕
