Monochrome Fixation

A mix of post-punk, garage, deep funk, indie, lo-fi and other oddities. Music showcases less-known artists with focus on small record labels and DIY. Many of the bands only put out a 7" or two, and much of what I play is out of print and can't be found on Spotify. The show highlights the connection between post-punk, garage and funk, the influences of garage and funk on post-punk, and the DIY ethic in all three genres. Airs weekly on KNSJ 89.1 San Diego.
