I would listen to this podcast even if I wasn’t running any games. It’s like paging through a reference volume with a thoughtful and informative guide at your side. James has a pleasant voice and warm manner, and the presentation is entertaining and efficient. Every episode is inspiring; you’ll take away a fresh perspective on the creatures and how to effectively deploy them. The cumulative effect is that your encounters will be more interesting and engaging at the table.
