    Joe talks about how he fights anxiety (switching to decaf for one). We talk the links between Facebook/time wasting and depression… We talk about how none of us care for horror movies (we give ‘em a good roasting), and how Anthony punched a man in the face in a haunted house.     We talk the craziest things Sal Vulcano has done on his hit TV show “Impractical Jokers,” including completely tanking in front of Imagine Dragon in front of 14,000 people, going through a haunted corn maze, getting put in the trunk of a car, and more…We also talk the “No Apologies Gauntlet,” where Sal has to do terrible things to people and he’s not allowed to say sorry.     “He’s Waiting Outside For You” With Jon Fisch and Jimmy Failla

    The system went down and we lost 30 minutes of the podcast so Jimmy and Jon were good enough sports to hang, re-record and then some. We discuss how to deal with hecklers, the worst kind of hecklers, and some bad heckle stories...Including a near fight Sam got into. We discuss, what do we consider success in comedy? Also, we talk some rough casino gigs. As Jimmy puts it, “every once in a while a comic and crowd get together that shouldn’t.” We also talk about why it’s so hard to portray comics on TV.     “I made good on my gambling debts by extorting money from an old woman"

    This week Rachel Feinstein and Dave Juskow are in the studio! Dave shows up with a very thoughtful gift for Sam’s birthday, and tells some of his degenerate gambling stories. He also talks about using his dad’s death to try to pick up chicks at his father’s funeral. We hear about the time Dave found out his ex girlfriend had sex with his good friend (a famous comedian) at her funeral. A lot of crazy stories here.

    We talk the VMAs, comedy awards, and more…Sam tells a weird story about an awkward ballbusting with Carlos Mencia. Joe tells a story about how he got Jim Carrey, Mike Tyson and George Lucas’ phone number. We also have a long talk about burgers. Josh calls Sam out for not being a better person yet. Sam and Joe tell a few stories about dong the road together when Joe was still drinking. Sam got mad at Joe for driving him home in a black out.     What is this, a cancer benefit? with Lenny Marcus & James L. Mattern

    Lenny Marcus (Letterman), James L. Mattern (Lust for Life Podcast) and Sam are all decked in NY sports paraphernalia for this one. Sam and Lenny give James some crap for changing his name from “Maddog” to “James” mid career. Lenny talks about coming up at the Comedy Cellar in 1999, tells some great Dave Attell stories, and the meanest thing he ever said to a heckler (it ends in a fight broken up by a large cook). We discuss the value of getting chops in a room where you’re not seen, where you can build yourself up quietly. We also discuss how we’re sick of lists in comedy. Stop ranking everything and enjoy yourself. Also, bombing at benefits. James tells a story about showing up to bomb the same benefit for the same benefit TWO STRAIGHT YEARS. Great talk.
