    You Can't Live on Yesterday's Manna (+ Break Announcement)

    In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst announces she will be going on a break before her Summer Season of the Podcast begins AND she encourages us to seek for God DAILY. Oftentimes we think we can live off yesterdays connection with God, but the Bible tells us that yesterdays "manna" is no good, we need fresh bread today.     What Are You Putting Your Hope In?

    In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst actually talks us through John 5 and the way that the TV series The Chosen portrayed it in this weeks episode. Oftentimes we can think we are putting our hope in God, but it's a lot easier to put our hope in something we can see, something we can control. We put our hope in bank accounts, jobs, what we look like, our stuff, but at the end of the day, it's all empty promises.     In the Still, Small Voice...

    Life is But a Vapor, Don't Waste it!

    Draw Near to God...

    Don't Despise the Days of Small Beginnings

And this happened to Israel in Zechariahs day, when they returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile and were trying to rebuild the Temple.     The God Who Restores Our Callings

    Having Oil in Our Lamps
