Even when the topic is death, or gross things about death (I’m looking at you Funky, Formidable Foes), this podcast is calming to listen to. Jem and Red have such great voices, and the way they talk about potentially heavy topics makes the podcast feel much more palatable than it could, if done a different way. They take these topics seriously and really put thought, and more importantly, care into them. I really like this podcast and it’s death positive take, and I really enjoy the hosts conversations. It’s always respectful, but never overwhelming. Thank you Jem and Red!

An absolutely delightful delve into those things most of us shy away from. One of my favorites with morning coffee.

Laughing about heavy ppl needing special equipment was mildly insensitive. I’m a heavy person, and although I do think about how someone(s) are going to have to remove my body at some point, it’s not like something I can just change overnight, which is the sort of spirit in which the hosts discussed this - as though if you are heavy, fix it because we have to deal with your fat body. I’m still going to listen because in other areas the hosts are respectful, but body shaming isn’t respectful.
